2020.09.21 02:37 personalitytests123 MBTI Types and HEXACO Results

Hello everybody, I recently posted in the subreddits for all of the different MBTI types asking if people would be willing to take the HEXACO test and share their results. I have started analyzing the data and thought I would share some of the things I have learned so far. I should clarify that I am not quite done analyzing everything yet the way I would like to, so I will be updating this post as time goes on. Also, if you haven't already taken the test and posted your results you could take the test at https://hexaco.org/hexaco-online. After you take the test please post your numerical results (not the graphs) along with your MBTI type below.
Anyways, so for some background on the HEXACO model, the HEXACO model is essentially the same as The Big Five except that it adds a new trait for honesty-humility. I learned about the HEXACO model by reading about it and taking it online. I have also read a book by the researchers who developed the model titled "The H Factor of Personality: Why Some People are Manipulative, Self-Entitled, Materialistic, and Exploitive—And Why It Matters for Everyone", where they explore the new honesty-humility factor.
Both the HEXACO and The Big Five are trait personality theories, and they were developed by asking people to rate themselves on adjectives such "cheerfulness" or "outgoingness". They then looked to see what adjectives were correlated together, and combined these adjectives into a group. The reason they did this is that some adjectives describe essentially the same thing (or they are opposites so they are on the same scale). For example, cheerfulness and liveliness are basically the same. Eventually, the founders of The Big Five found that they were able to consolidate adjectives into five basic traits which are: extraversion, neuroticism, openness, consciousness, and agreeableness.
The HEXACO was developed later when a pair of researchers performed this same process with eastern, Asian languages and discovered that their adjectives actually clustered into six categories, rather than just five. They then re-did this analysis in western cultures and they again discovered these same six factors. The first five factors were the same as those in The Big Five, but the new sixth factor they discovered was honesty-humility. The reason why honesty-humility wasn't discovered originally with the original Big Five research is that that research was performed earlier than the HEXACO before computers and higher processing power was available, so they had to limit themselves to fewer adjectives in their research.
In summary, the HEXACO model measures the level's of people's humility-honesty (H), emotionality (E, note that this is referred to as neuroticism in The Big Five), extraversion (X), agreeableness (A), consciousness (C), and openness (O). The H factor is pretty straightforward in that people who are high in it tend to be honest, sincere, and modest, whereas people who are low in the H factor tend to lie more, are more narcissistic, and are more materialistic. Emotionality measures your levels of anxiety, fearfulness, emotional dependence on others, and sentimentality. Extraversion measures not only how sociable you are, but also your overall levels of positive emotions such as liveliness. Agreeableness measures how willing you are to forgive other people, as well as how easy you are to get along with overall. Consciousness measures how strong your work ethic is and how much you plan out your life. I should also note that people with low levels of consciousness typically have poorer impulse control. Lastly, openness to experience measures how willing you are to explore new ideas such as intellectual ideas, and also how creativity you are.
Overall, when I last analyzed the date there were a total of 60 respondents. So far 38 intuitives and 22 sensors have responded, so be aware that the all respondents results are skewed toward intuitives at the moment. With that being said here are some of the things I have found so far by applying a t-test analysis to a variety of different traits:
I intend to do further analysis by looking at each individual type. However, at the time I performed my most recent analysis of the data no ESTJs, ENTJs, or ESFPs had responded. Additionally, a number of other types only have a few respondents, so the more people that would be willing to take the test so that I could analyze their test results the better.
TLDR: I am looking at how HEXACO test results correlate to MBTI type. The raw data and analysis can be found at the following link: Data Analysis.xlsx Also, if you haven't taken the test yet, please take the test at https://hexaco.org/, so that I can have more data for the analysis. Make sure to post your numerical results though, because I can't analyze data from the graphs. You can get the numerical results if you scroll down the results page and click on the "obtain my results in pdf format" icon.

2020.09.15 15:42 etherealcharmander Which middle function is most preferred by each type?

Welcome everyone, to the long awaited results for my controversial polls. I call them that because I had plenty of comments asking me why I think its possible for someone to prefer their auxiliary function over their tertiary, it just doesn't make sense. I believe that Objective Personality came up with this theory from what I've found, at least they're the ones that put it out there as far as I have seen. The theory talks about the "animals/actions" which refer to the order in which the functions are used in your stack. They are called Sleep, Blast, Play, and Consume. This explains how some people are able to prefer their third function first then go to their second function second. I will leave a link explaining all of these words so that I don't have to clutter this post doing so.
https://www.ithinkifeel.com/home/2020/3/8/function-actions-objectiver-personality
Now, here's why I made this poll in the first place. I've been going in circles trying to properly type myself and I've fully concluded, I'm still an INFP, not an INFJ. While I have properly disciplined myself to be punctual and organized, I am still a natural mess by heart. There were many INFPs disagreeing with me saying that I can't possibly be an INFP because we hate structure and love to just do things in the moment. I digress. Well developed people CAN prefer their third function, maybe seeing it as a goal or challenge to learn how to master. On the other hand, they can dislike it, seeing their aux function as all they need.
I got plenty of feedback about this poll, some positive, some negative. Some misunderstandings were happening as well. While I understand that everyone uses both middle functions together, it was not my intention for people to fully pick one over the other, but to pick which one comes first to them. I explained to many that it's usually a 60/40 split on either side and it doesn't really matter which side.
Before we get into the results, of course these aren't going to be 100% accurate, but we can speculate on why some graphs look different than others. To start, there's not a ton of sensors in the online MBTI community as compared to intuitives (or many intuitives are mistyped) so that messes with the results a little. There is also the fact that people could've just chosen the function they think is cooler or better, instead of the one they actually use first. So I will give a few of my thoughts about the results and let you guys argue or discuss in the comments.
https://m.imgur.com/a/YNFeeGt
The IxFJs overwhelmingly chose Ti over Fe. Someone suggested that this might be because of a certain number of them being in an Ni-Ti or Si-Ti loop, which is possible. Loops are using the first and third function and ignoring the second to balance the two instead of using the third function then the second right after.
ENFPs seemed to prefer Te while ESFPs seemed to prefer Fi. This could be because of the differences in Ne and Se. Most stated that they use Te for real life things and Fi is usually just there to guide them along the way.
I don't have much to say for the ESxJs as there weren't many participants, but I do wonder why the ESTJs picked Ne over Si.
It seems like the ENxJs overwhelmingly preferred their aux function. I had a few conversations with some ENTJs about this whole thing. In short, not understanding why a person with an N in the type could possibly prefer an S function. So it seems like this group was the most opposed to this theory. It shows in the results as well.
The ISxPs were pretty split as well. Very balanced. Most still preferring their Se but still use a good amount of Ni as well. Nothing much to say here except very balanced souls.
The ExTPs love their Ti. I date an ENTP irl that constantly uses Fe. To all you guys out there, don't be so critical of your third function. It's not here to hurt you. It's here to give you that balance. Give it a chance!
The IxTJs were pretty solid. Most of them preferring Te over Fi. They are pretty average results and nothing out of the ordinary here imo.
The INxPs oh boy here's where I get to ramble for the last time. These are the people that absolutely love to use their Ne and hate being grounded in reality. The consensus seems to be I've got this ability to see so many possibilities, why would I choose that other one over this? Which I can understand. It seems like Ne is very important to us. I respect you guys. Just please stop telling me I can't be an INFP because of this xD
And that's all folks! Very long post here. Please leave any feedback you have about this theory, whether you agree or disagree and why. If you didn't get a chance to participate in the polls, let me know what you would have chosen and why. Overall, just remember these are all theories and concepts, you are not limited to what your type says you can do or who you can be. Have a great day/evening/night/morning everybody.

2020.09.12 18:11 Nutmeg_2002 If MBTI had Fanfiction - pt 2/4 (INFJ x ENTP)

Part 1
Content Warning: This chapter is Safe For Work, but contains common media tropes that is often found in fanfiction that some may find inappropriate.
A/N: Greetings, fellow citizens of UnderworldMBTI! It's been over a month since I posted the first part. I was scared I might post something too cringy.
This might be a bit confusing without reading the first chapter, so please do so first. Once again, it's a parody of fanfiction in general, while also parodying MBTI sterotypes. This is NOT meant to be taken seriously, and is not meant to offend anyone or any type. I must, however, warn you; there will be cringe; possibly more than in the first part. I don't mean this lightly. And another reminder that certain parts of the story may be disturbing. Viewer discretion advised.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 2: INFJ x ENTP
The humid afternoon air blew against INFJ’s hair as she stepped out of the school building. The day passed like every other day did. She woke up, went to all her classes, and discussed her work for the Conveniently Timed Festival-Concert-Thing with ESTJ. Yet, something was… off that day. INFJ could feel it. She would sometimes feel like she was being watched, but every time she’d turn to look, she would remember that it was pointless to do so with inferior Se.
Well, there were a couple of changes. INFP had stopped dyeing her hair brown. Knowing her, INFJ didn’t know if she should be happy or worried. Sure, INFP and ISTJ weren’t walking home together after school that day, but INFJ had already used her Ni to sense intuit that they weren’t friends anymore, and that INFP was now dating someone. While she could figure out what was happening around her when it’s convenient to the plot, she still couldn’t seem to figure out what was bothering her. As the afternoon sun dropped behind a cloud, INFJ felt a chill down her spine. Almost as if-
“WE’RE GOING TO THE ORANGE JUICE PLACE!” ENFP jumped out from behind INFJ.
“ENFP! You nearly gave me a heart attack!” INFJ said, brushing a loose strand of her naturally silver hair behind her ear.
“Sorry about that! I’M JUST REALLY EXCITED! It’s INTP’s birthday today, so ENTJ’s hosting a party at The Orange Juice Place! She invited a couple of people including- you guessed it- me!!! I mean, she didn’t exactly invite me, per se, but INTJ declined saying she was “too busy with the Conveniently Timed Festival-Concert-Thing”, so I managed to do a bit of bargaining until she let me attend the party! Nothing much, I just had to promise to not speak the entire time, “for INTP’s sake”! Which is totally fine because I am such an introvert, am I right?! If anything, it’s a total loss for INTP, because who wouldn’t want to listen to me talk for 4 hours straight?!! I asked ENTJ, if I could invite one more person… I admit that she was a bit hesitant at first, but she agreed to it when I told her who it was! cAN YOU GUesS WHO It waS???!!!!!!” ENFP asked, breaking into a dance in the middle of the sidewalk.
“….me?” INFJ asked.
Ding ding! Correct!!!” ENFP grinned, pointing finger guns at INFJ.
“I don’t know if parties are really my thi-“
“Come on! It’s just one party! You’re in high school; one night of drinking orange juice won’t hurt!”
Truthfully speaking, INFJ did not want to go to The Orange Juice Place. For one, she seemed to be one of the only characters in this story, who cared about the fact that they were high school students, and that they had a huge Math test the very next day. And secondly, INFJ was uncomfortable with the fact that this plan was made last minute. However, ENFP was her childhood friend. He was the only one who even came close to understanding her, and she didn’t want him to be upset. So instead, she used her Fe to pretend that she was excited.
“Sounds like fun!” INFJ lied, “What’s the worst that could happen?”
***
“You’re late,” ENTJ said without looking up from her phone.
“Hey, we didn’t know INTP would actually be here on time!” ISTP said, causing ENTJ to actually look up at them.
“You invited more people?” INTP asked, taking his eyes off of his laptop for the first time since he’d arrived.
INFJ knew it was going to be a long night the moment she saw the three of them walk through the door. To be fair, it hadn’t been the best evening she’d had. INTP himself had spent the whole time messaging INTJ about the Festival-Concert Thing and talking to his anime girlfriend, whom he had brought along on his laptop. INFJ talked to ENTJ about the work she had to do for the Festival-Concert Thing, until ENFP found a loophole in ENTJ’s demand, and started texting her about a new idea he had about space cats. You’re not really paying attention to this part. Kek. Frozen banana geese. INFJ had secretly hoped that they were the only people who’d come, but good luck was pretty rare for her. But she certainly hadn’t expected them.
“Yeah, I thought I’d invite them along. They told me I couldn’t be the most interesting person here if I they came along too, so I wanted to prove them wrong,” ENTP smirked, ruffling his hair.
ENTP. Of course. He was the only one who’d have no problem inviting the cool kids over to INTP’s birthday party, if you could even call it that. ENTP had messy black hair and eyes that were the colour of melted chocolate chips. ENTP would always walk around school looking for people to debate with about politics and bad puns. Everyone else thought ENTP was cool. But INFJ, being extremely smart and observant, knew that looks weren’t a good representation of someone’s character. He was the first one to start throwing his milk carton at ISTJ, after they had a disagreement over whether or not pizza could be considered a sandwich. He’d gotten detention (idk, my school never had them) multiple times for making the feeler substitute teachers cry.
As the others decided to start a game of Truth or Dare, ENFP excused himself to go to the washroom. INFJ looked around. The Orange Juice place had a lot of customers that night. For a place that sold only orange juice, it was very popular. Somebody could go missing, and you’d never know. Suddenly she noticed a door.
Finally, she thought, If I could just go behind that door and slam it behind me…
“Hey INFJ!”
INFJ looked up. It was ENTP.
“Are you INFP?” he asked, his dark brown eyes gleamed in the dim light.
“No, I’m INFJ. INFP is my-“
“Cause you’re a FiNe SiTe,” ENTP gave a lopsided smile.
INFJ knew what was happening. She could see the others pretending not to pay attention to them. Was ESTP recording this on her phone? Suddenly, INFJ snapped.
“You’re a horrible person, ENTP,” INFJ bluntly replied, “I’m done playing this game.”
ENTP looked taken aback by what she’d said. ISTP burst into laughter from behind them, and ESTP and INTP could be heard cackling along. As ENTP walked back to the others, INFJ sighed. She’d tried all she could to get along with the others, but she just wanted to leave now. She finished the rest of her orange juice and waited for ENFP to come back.
What’s taking her so long? she wondered.
INFJ was so tired, she almost didn’t notice all the commotion that was happening.
“For the last time! We don’t. Serve. Iced. Pumpkin. Spice. Latte!” ENTJ yelled at the top of her lungs.
“That is so unfair! I demand to speak to the manager!” ESFJ raised her voice even higher.
“I AM THE MANAGER!” ENTJ practically screeched back.
“I WANT TO SPEAK TO THE OTHER MANAGER!”
“THE OTHER MANAGER ISN’T HERE TODAY!”
“Then arrange a video call so I can talk to him at once!” ESFJ said, nearly lunging for INTP’s laptop.
“Stay away from my waifu!” INTP hissed as he tried to pull the laptop away from her.
Unfortunately, ESFJ’s sensing won and she managed to close the Doki Doki Literature Club window, causing INTP to curl up into a ball on the floor, devoid of any expression. ESFJ spent the next 10 minutes screaming over ENFJ, who was calmly trying to explain over a video call that she couldn’t keep coming to The Orange Juice Place to yell at him for breaking up with her and-
Wait a minute…
ENFJ didn’t look very calm. INFJ didn’t notice it at first, but he definitely looked pretty scared, now that she paid more attention. Shaky palms, nervous smile…
How could I not have noticed that? I’m always able to tell how everyone is feeling! Something is wrong…
INFJ felt sick. She felt… dizzy? Something was wrong. Where was ENFP? He still hadn’t come back? Or had he? She could feel her vision blur as everything around her turned into a blurry dissonant cacophony of… Was that ENTJ with a Nerf gun?
***
INFJ groaned. Why did her head hurt so much? She opened her eyes, only to find herself in a dark room. She tried to rub her eyes, but realized that her hands and legs were tied to a chair. Panicking, she looked at her surroundings. She seemed to be in a basement, empty except for herself. And her chair. Is it her chair if it belongs to her kidnapper? There was a closed door, but in her current predicament, it would be pretty hard to slam. Suddenly, it all came back to her.
The Orange Juice Place! I was waiting for ENFP to come back. What happened to him? Where am I? What’s going on…
Her thoughts were broken by the sound of footsteps drawing closer. She held her breath as the door swung open.
“Looks like you’re finally awake,” ENTP said, his chocolate-brown orbs fixed on INFJ.
“W-where am I?” INFJ asked, “Why am I here? What’s happening?! Where’s-”
“Do you know how cute you look when you’re asleep?” ENTP sighed, tucking a strand of INFJ’s hair behind her ear, “Although I admit that it does get boring after 18 hours…”
18 hours!? INFJ thought, So much for that Math test...
“When I was young, I had a super sad childhood that’s gonna make the readers sympathize with me and fantasize about wanting to “fix” me. All my life, I’ve been empty and cold,” ENTP said,” But from the moment I first laid eyes on you, all those years ago, something felt… different. That day in elementary school, when you told me off for calling your sister a “poopy-head”, I knew you were mine. You’re the only one who can make me feel whole again…”
ENTP’s gorgeous dark hair almost draped over his eyes, as INFJ looked at him in surprise. Had he always looked this hot? But suddenly, his expression turned dark.
“But that pesky ENFP… He just wouldn’t leave you alone. So, I got rid of him,” an edgy a dark grin crept up on ENTP’s face.
“I couldn’t stand the thought of you talking to anyone besides me. So, I slipped a couple of blueberries into your drink when you weren’t looking, and by the time Karen stopped terrorizing everyone at the Orange Juice Place, I had ESTP and ISTP bring you here without anyone noticing. All I had to do was say that they left after you and ENFP did, because they were tired of hanging out with INTP, and ENTJ actually bought it! I then had INTP text your family that you were gonna live with me, your boyfriend, from now on. I’m sure your sad feeler sisters would understand.”
“Wait… what?!” INFJ panicked.
“Well, I would’ve sent the text myself, if I hadn’t broken my phone yesterday. I know it sounds hard to believe, but I actually lost an argument online. In that moment of weakness, I snapped, and I threw my phone at the-”
“No, I mean, are you going to keep me here forever? Please let me go… I won’t call the cops on you or anything!” INFJ pleaded.
“I’m not letting you off that chair until I’m sure that you’ll never leave me. Now, I’m gonna go back upstairs. Don’t even think about escaping,” ENTP said, totally not foreshadowing what’s about to happen next.
Brushing his messy dark hair away from his dreamy eyes, ENTP went back upstairs, leaving the door open. INFJ struggled against the ropes, until she could free herself. This was possible because ENTP was an epic intuitive and didn’t notice the loose ropes, and not because I’m a lazy writer. INFJ slowly crept upstairs, hoping ENTP wouldn’t notice her. The stairs lead up to what seems to be the dining room. INFJ could hear ENTP arguing with someone at the front door about… alarm clocks? Looks like INFJ wouldn’t be able to slam it any time soon. She looked around for any potential weapons to defend herself. She glanced at the dining table. A NiFe? Nah, too risky. Suddenly, she remembered something- her mobile phone! It was in her pocket the whole time, and she had forgotten about it. She quickly dialed ENTJ’s number. Thankfully, she picked up.
“INFJ? I can’t talk now, I have to pick out the nuclear codes for when I take ov-“
“ENTJ, I’m really sorry, but help!!! ENTP’s holding me hostage at his house!!!!” INFJ almost yelled into the phone.
“INFJ, is everything alright? Why weren’t you at school today?” ENTJ asked.
“ENTP kidnapped me at the party yesterday! I’m really sorry for bothering you like this, but could you please ge-“
INFJ froze, as ENTP grabbed the phone from her.
“Hey, there ENTJ! Sorry to bother you! INFJ drank way too much OJ last night. You guys really should switch to organic orange juice. I’m pretty sure you were browsing Reddit last night after you were done attacking ESFJ with that Nerf gun,” ENTP sounded as casual as ever.
“ENTP, why aren’t you guys at school?” ENTJ asked.
“Well, uh, we were both sick after, uh, drinking too much orange juice. So, I asked INFJ if I could borrow her phone to ask you to ask INTJ to stop asking about the batteries and, umm, well, we started dating!” ENTP explained.
There was a long silence, followed by ENTJ bursting into laughter.
“Classic ENTP! Despite your explanation making no sense whatsoever, I’m gonna believe you over INFJ, despite INFJ seemingly being a good friend of mine. You guys would definitely Now I have to go.” ENTJ said as she hung up the phone.
ENTP’s cheerful demeanor turned dark as he turned towards INFJ.
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to do that! Please don’t hurt me!” INFJ begged.
“Alexa,” ENTP said in a stone cold voice, “Play ‘It’s Everyday Bro’ by Jake Paul.”
INFJ writhed in pain from the cringe as Jake Paul’s voice blasted across the room. As she screamed, something in her broke.
Voice: omg heyy I’m a voice in ur head!!! Well, technically, I’m ur conscience…
INFJ: Oh no, are we resorting to this format now? Isn’t this level of cringe a bit too far?
Voice: listen, ENTP is dangerous and you’re developing Stockholm Syndrome! You have to get out of there!
INFJ: What? No, I’m not! I just think ENTP is cute and irrationally think that I could save him from his trauma, despite being kidnapped and tortured by him.
Voice: yeah… that’s Stockholm syndrome.
INFJ: Oh no…
Once ENTP stopped the music, he brushed his hand through INFJ’s hair.
“Look at what you made me do! I don’t like hurting you, INFJ, but you left me with no choice. Do you have any idea how hard it is to be an abusive character the readers have to think is hot?” ENTP said in a softer voice, caressing her cheek (idk, I use Reddit).
“I’m sorry,” INFJ said, as she let ENTP carry her back downstairs to the basement.
“Don’t worry; I won’t hurt you like that ever again. At least, not until the next time the story needs more angst. And now that we’ll be together forever, there’s only one thing left to do,” ENTP flashed an unusually large grin.
What’s ENTP talking about? INFJ wondered. It couldn’t be about letting her use the bathroom after 18 hours: this is fanfiction! A glass of water would’ve been nice, but INFJ was selfless and didn’t care about herself enough to consider any of these possibilities.
“I’ve been waiting for this moment for years!” ENTP said excitedly, tying INFJ back up to the chair in the basement.
“What are you talking about?” INFJ asked, “Please don’t hur-”
“Now, let’s assume that, hypothetically, an IxFP were to waste their time staring at a flower,” ENTP looked (a now terrified) INFJ dead in the eye, “Would it be a fair assessment to say that they have low Se? Or do they have low low Ne?”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A/N 2: Electric Boogaloo: Sorry for all the cringe. Also, I would like to add that Jake Paul's music and debates about the cognitive function are objectively the worst things INFJ would have to worry about with ENTP. If you ignored all the warnings, read through the whole thing, and still decide to report me to the mods, please let me know in the comments so I can laugh at you. If you are a mod and find this inappropriate, please don't ban me, I'm sorry!
Edit: I do want to add that despite that last Author's Note, I do appreciate criticism. And I might rewrite parts of the story if people find it too uncomfortable.

2020.09.08 01:11 kindnessalways08 My (23F) boyfriend (23M) is so insanely different from me, and I think I need help in understanding him.

This might come as a shock, but we’ve been together 7 years now and I just feel the more we’re together, the more he’s an enigma to me.
Let’s start from the beginning. We were best friends before we got together (ages 15-16) and he’d had a thing for me from the beginning. My first impression of him was funny, warm, caring, soft. Of course, this is when we first got together. I’d now describe him as (still) funny, yet a little stoic, quiet, and emotionless.
He’s told me before he doesn’t really feel much emotion. He says he’s usually happy and doesn’t normally get sad. I asked him how he knows he loves me if he doesn’t feel much emotion and he replied “We’ve been together long enough that I just feel like I should love you”. This response struck me weird. I’m not saying it’s a wrong answer by any means but it’s just not something I expected. Also this weekend I was singing in the car (terribly) and laughing and he told me to stop because it made him uncomfortable(?). I later asked him about this and he said he doesn’t know how to explain it, it’s like when I was laughing and singing he thought I was laughing at him and expecting him to sing when he “doesn’t do that”.
So I’m really into mbti and if any of you are familiar with it, I’m an infj (introverted, very intuitive, huge feeler, and a planner) and he is an estj (extroverted, down to earth, more of a thinker than a feeler, and also a planneorganized) so essentially, we’re almost polar opposites. I like the universe and nature and the mystery/theories that come with it and he likes sports and calculated things.
We have a very similar sense of humour and goof around 24/7 but sometimes I crave some seriousness and pure openness and he’s just not like that at all. I told him about love languages and how sometimes I like little date nights planned every once in a while or to just be surprised with something. But he says he’s not like that and shows his love by just hanging out with me. I’ve told him that sometimes I feel like we’re just best friends who have sex and he said “isn’t that how it’s supposed to be?” Which I guess does make sense.
I’m not sure. Sometimes I feel like I’m just asking for too much or that I’m expecting him to be someone he’s not. But I just can’t grasp how someone can never really get sad or show any emotion. Sorry if this was all over the place. Can anyone help me with understanding him a bit more? Any input would be much appreciated.
I also wanna say I’m currently in the process of coming off of hormonal birth control (non-pregnancy related) and my hormones are all over the place. I’m really not trying to be so judgemental.

2020.08.23 23:40 Weeeyerd You guys ever feeling the process of dating is so easy with INFJs/ENFJs, ENTJs/INTJs, and sometimes, INFPs? Other types, not so much, outside of rare exceptions.

For me, as a guy INTP, it's literally dating on easy mode (of course, assuming a decent level of maturity). All the other types, I either feel out of my element, or feel like they want the idea of someone who isn't me, or I just feel drained. Most women tend be ESFP, ESFJ, ISFP, ISTJ, or ESTJ. ISFJs are common too, and they can work, but it takes a lot of work to deal with clinginess & sensitivity to criticism and miscommunication and whatnot.
But when it comes to the types I mentioned before, dating is literally super simple. Some basic convo and a few teases, pretty direct and cordial convo, and you're off to the races. I don't know what it is, but for example, even though ENFJs can be really manipulative if they want to, they're also super straightforward and easy to read as Fe-types, so even when they try to push boundaries and are acting fake nice and excited to keep the piece, or engage in a white lie, usually, they're doing it with your best intentions in mind. If they're pushing for something, I can see it and then move accordingly.
On the the other hand, with ESFPs for example, they're very unpredictable, from my experience because their motives aren't "keeping the piece" but instead "physical stimulation" and "authenticity to my feelings", which are literally unpredictable. They will cause drama just to feel something, engage in character attacks, and just have over-emotionality. There's degrees to it, and with ESFPs, it's been the worst from my experience. It takes SO MUCH maturity on both ends to make it work, and imo, the juice hasn't been worth the squeeze.
It's like giving away gold, and getting a cool-looking piece of wood in exchange, that looks cool, and everyone else in your society is like "woah, that's a cool piece of wood you got there, lucky you" and you can also see what's up with it in terms of the design and way it was built, but once you realize what it is, you accept that it's just a piece of wood and you want a refund. ESFPs can be great people btw, and have substance in their own way. Just not for me. The same applies for a lot of other types.
Anyways, what's your experience been like?

2020.08.21 17:02 Sakaesashimi Anyone in their 40s dating ESTJ?

Just started to date a ESTJ. I identified him as one right away and he took the test and confirmed it. I really like so many aspects of him but I could also see the potential issues right away. Is this an impossible combo? Any tips? How do you make it work? Thanks!

2020.08.21 12:16 UsedToBeRadical Dating another XNTP kinda sucks. Here's why

I am an INTP woman that used to date an ENTP man. Even though we were good friends, it was a terrible recipe for a romantic relationship. We were both too "relaxed" and emotionally distant and we just couldn't take the relationship seriously. I am now dating an ESTJ and he helps me open up and take the relationship seriously.
Of course, I can't speak for everyone but I thought I should share my experiences in case anyone agrees.

2020.08.15 02:06 ShyWriter777 Shitty Life Pro Tips for Each MBTI Personality

ESTJ - Dictator is great job experience to add to resumes for managerial positions.
ESTP - To test if a berry in the wild is poisonous, eat two of them to cancel the poison out.
ESFJ - Sabotage your high-rolling lover's career to get them fired. Now, they'll have more time to spend with you and you'll finally see if you just loved them for their status.
ESFP - Announcing you're having a baby at a wedding is a great way to draw the attention back to you.
ENTJ - Assassination is a great way to open a better job position in your company.
ENTP - Write "ego" on a check and hold on to it. That way, nobody can say you don't keep your ego in check.
ENFJ - Sneaking in to your friend's house at night and randomly waking them up to ask if they've been reaching their goals is a great way to motivate them.
ENFP - Following a stranger home is a great way to make new friends.
ISTJ - Cults are great organization models to follow to get everyone to follow the rules and do things by the book.
ISTP - Real life hunger games are a great group bonding activity with your friends.
ISFJ - Believe the best in others and continually get disappointed? Run away from home and become a nun. You're a guy? Become a nun anyway.
ISFP - Tired of the depressed artist stereotype? Switch from dark colors to pastel and they can't call you depressed anymore.
INTJ - Asking for a cover letter, resume, and 3 references for the first date is an excellent way to figure out if you could be soulmates.
INTP - If you want people to stop talking to you, go to your computer, switch the language to non-English, and they won't be able to communicate with you anymore.
INFJ - If you really want to get to know someone, you should interrogate them.
INFP - Can't get a job with your skillsets? Walk into a random company, pretend to work there, and hopefully, they'll start paying you.
I did my best with these without using the overused "Haha ENTP argue/INTJ robot/INFP sad" jokes...
I couldn't avoid completely avoid the overused stereotypes cuz I couldn't thinking of something more creative... (Sorry, ISFP and ISTP...)
Took a long time coming up with a shitty life pro-tip for each one, so sorry if yours is less than stellar...I tried... 🙈 I'll edit if I come up with something better...

2020.08.14 19:21 Umami_N What do INTPs like about ENTJs?

Hi all - this is my pseudo-lurker-throw-away-account:
THE SETUP
I recently started dating again, in March specifically, after my 8-year relationship with an INTP (M) ended at the beginning of 2020. I've gone out with dozens of people during this time -- social distanced or video calls (no COVID for me please!) and true to MBTI prophecy, all the men who I naturally click with and who are attracted to me are INTPs. I can immediately pick you all out from a line up from your love of knowledge, your aloofness, your subtle humor, your high math/intellectualism. (I can go on and on...)
BACKGROUND
I'd had 3 very serious, long term relationships with INTPs throughout my life. One of the biggest patterns I've noticed that has caused conflicts in these relationships is that I'm always someone who is in the mindset of self-improvement. And I'm always encouraging others to grow and improve too, from romantic partners to my employees to my family to my friends. However, overtime, the INTPs I'm dating grow tired of this sort of dynamic -- I'm talking YEARS later. First they love it, they love the energy, they love the musings I have about life and society, but eventually the steam runs out, I think.
For most ENTJs, achievement is happiness, and that is completely, utterly me.
WHO ARE INTPs?
However, what does happiness look like for INTPs? I haven't figured that out yet. Can you all help me understand what makes many of you tick? What makes you feel a sense of completion? Happiness? What are you looking for in a partner? If you like ENTJs, what specifically do you like about them?
BUT WHAT PROMPTED THIS QUESTION?!
The reason I bring this up is because I recently went on a date with a guy. He's in his late 30s. He's a developer. I'm NOT crushing on him. But he's nice, and I like nice people. I am certain he's an INTP because of his mannerisms and his career choices and how he sees the world. But he told me that the reason he and his longterm partner broke up was because she was always critical of him. As he described her to me, she sounded like an ExTJ (maybe ESTJ/ENTJ) -- obviously, it was a secondhand account, so I didn't have a lot of knowledge to work with to define her personality type. But that made me think about my past relationships and the friction I've encountered with my other INTP partners, how most of them felt the pressure to excel and achieve because of me, and ultimately they didn't want to be in that dynamic anymore.
TL;DR
In summary: If you like ENTJ women, why? What qualities stand out to you? Does it bother you that we're so achievement focused?
ABOUT ME
30 year old female. Really successful career in management. Lead a big team. A little eccentric. Lots of artistic hobbies. Athletic. I know math! And I guess some people find me mildly attractive. But basically, I'm an ENTJ through and through.

2020.08.13 07:56 FluidCherry “Opposites attract”, but, not for me?

You always hear about how opposites attract in the MBTI world, but for me this has not been the case. As an ENTP woman, I have found that my crushes largely consist of being on other ENTPs. My relationship history consists of dating only extroverts - ENTP, ENFJ, ESFP, ESTJ. I’ve noticed that even most of my “celebrity crushes” end up coincidentally being ENTPs.
I seem to just really value someone who can match my energy levels and who is super full of life. I like being with someone who wants to go on adventures with me - not stay cooped up at home most times.
I’m also not a “chaser”. I have been attracted to / intrigued by introverts before, but it’s too disheartening to have to continually try and pry them open. I need to feel like it’s a 50 / 50 effort of getting to know each other. And I like someone who contributes as much to the conversation as I do.
It’s worth noting that I’m a sort of shy ENTP who can be mistaken for an introvert in certain social settings. I am also very picky with who I date and have some commitment issues. The only guys who I’ve dated are the confident extroverts who persisted enough to win me over, and are outgoing enough to keep me entertained. In this way, I guess I like to be the one that’s chased. I am drawn to people who are similar to me... I’m drawn the more confident and ideal versions of who I want to be.
So maybe my minor shyness contributes to this? And I can’t say that I’ve ever met an INFJ or INTJ guy. I have no idea how we’d get along if I met one.
But, outside of the introvert/extrovert matter, I also prefer people who are perceivers like me. Based on my relationship history, the guys who were judging types frequently conflicted with me because they find me too chaotic, and I quite literally have found those guys to be too judgemental towards my way of life. Doesn’t help that I also hate being controlled in any way. Anyway, I’ve gotten along way better with other perceivers. They seem to be more accepting of me, and our relationships were so much more harmonious.
So, I have always been a bit surprised by the opposites attract “perfect match” theory in mbti because of my past experiences. Am I the oddball here? Anyone else attracted to their own type, and not their apparent “opposite” perfect match?

2020.08.10 08:48 Sakaesashimi Dating an ISTJ? Me (f42, INFJ)

Just started dating who I think is an ISTJ. It’s pretty refreshing. I don’t feel like I need to guess where I stand by the fact that he texts me a lot.. However, he doesn’t flirt much, speaks so directly and matter of factly, almost serious all the time. Doesn’t really say nice things to you. Like when I ask him the next day after spending the night in his bed, in an attempt to flirt, so “did you wash your sheets?” he said “not yet but I probably should”. I said, “oh so now it smells of me :)” He said, “actually no because of the air freshener in the room.” 🤦‍♀️ Also, he sends me like 50photos a day. Like to tell me what’s he’s doing, where he’s at. Pretty boring stuff. And when I send photos, he rarely comments or responds. Recently I had some GI issues and went to urgent care, he never asked if I was ok. So does he sound like ISTJ to you?
Edited to add: Got him to do a test and he got ESTJ/ISTJ but said he thinks he’s an introvert. So I was pretty spot on.

2020.08.09 15:13 muddy120 Mario (ESFP) - One of the Greatest ESFPs of All Time and the Best ESFP Video Game Character Ever, Super Mario Bros MBTI Typings

Mario MBTI ESFP - Super Mario Bros. MBTI
Super Mario MBTI - Super Mario ESFP
I thought I'd share this opinion and post here on the Mario reddit too! Tell me what you think down below.
For anyone new to Myers-Briggs, it's a personality type indicator and there are 16 types in total with eight functions they all use with 4 of them being in their main stack.
https://www.myersbriggs.org/my-mbti-personality-type/mbti-basics/
https://www.careerplanner.com/8CognitiveFunctions/Cognitive-Functions-Simply-Explained.cfm
So I figured I'd talk about one of the most obvious ESFPs ever with Super Mario himself here from the Super Mario Bros game series. Mario is ESFP and is one of the best ones of all time as we all know and the biggest video game character in the world made by a ENFP video game creator being Shigeru Miyamoto himself, an Ne dom in Nintendo and core foundation on why Nintendo succeeded in the 90s with his Ne idea on making the Arcade game Donkey Kong way back then that blew up and changed the world as we know. Which all led to Mario Bros and the Super Mario Bros. series and games we know and love today. Miyamoto an ENFP made Mario an ESFP and Link an ISFP, so there you have it, some of the greatest video game characters of all time are SPs not NFs or intuitive, let's give it up for them here, Mario is the the best and greatest ESFP game character and best ESFP character possibly ever and here's why with my opinion down below.
Super Mario Bros, can't wait to talk about this one and Mario here. Mario is energetic, fun, goofy, down to earth and practical. He's very hands on and is good with a hammer and a plumber at that which all works perfectly with his hands on Se and his Se reacting to details around him and using his hammer when necessary to smash things and enemies and his classic jumping ability as well. Mario uses his Se to jump very easily in the world around him and react and respond to details fully in the moment, he pays attention to all details around him with his Se and responds and reacts to details spontaneously and impulsively with his Se dom impulsiveness and spontaneity fully in the moment and is a excellent jumper because of it and his Se skills as an ESFP. He follows his inner values and heart inside which is all Fi, and doesn't care for what society says or thinks and goes on dangerous adventures and tries to save princess peach whenever he can and when necessary. He gets the job done with his Te ter and gets goals done with the things he cares about and is sometimes efficient when he can be and never fails to hop in and try to save Peach with a moments notice with his Te efficiency being third and Se jumping in on impulse in the moment and responding to details quickly when Peach gets kidnapped and jumping at the chance and moment to save her immediately without hesitation. He loves to entertain and perform in front of people with his jumped skills and Se and Fi as an ESFP performer, when he does his triple jump in some games he puts his hands up in the air like he just performed in front of people in a stage show or play he's in with the impression he's trying to show his jumping skills off to people and entertain them and perform in front of them and impress them with his great jumping skills and abilities he has with his Se. Any type can love physical activity and be good a doing physical things and like physical things too, including Ne users, but Mario clearly is a Se dom here with loving to pay attention to respond to all details around him with his Se and living fully in the moment with it too and just caring for reacting to details today only and not focusing on the past or future very much at all.
Mario is also very adaptable with his Se being in the moment, he can adapt to any weather and new details he has to respond to in the sensory environment with his Se and he reacts to all details around them and pays attention to all details around him easily while respond to them quickly and spontaneously in the moment without fail with his Se dom behavior all the time no matter what terrain or situation he's in or presented with. He's a plumber again and uses a hammer, this is the perfect hands on image of Se and Mario's character. He's a very hands on Se dom and ESFP that follows his heart and jumps and performs and reacts and responds to details fully in the moment and doesn't really care about the future too much with his inferior Ni and just goes with the flow with his Se and focuses on what's going on fully in the moment and what's going on today as well and takes life day by day with his Se in general in each game he's always in. Some of the best games Mario has been in is Super Mario RPG, and Paper Mario series along with the great classic platformer Mario games we know and love today like the masterpiece game of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Odyssey too along with many others like Galaxy and Mario 64.
Mario is the classic ESFP and one of the greatest ESFP characters of all time. ESFP is the best personality type for a platformer game series and a jumpman plumber, which is what he was named and called initially as Jumpman first haha, who uses a hammer to hit things and fight with his hands on Se that responds to all details around him in the moment, Miyamoto hit the mark and made the best ESFP game character ever clearly here with Mario and we thank him so much for the genius idea and creation he made with this amazing character and game series he created and invented for us, thank you Shigeru Miyamoto for everything. Everyone knows Mario around the world so I don't need to explain this. Feel free to share your opinion on this down below on what you think, if your curious on the other major characters, I type Bowser ESTJ, Princess Peach ESFJ, Princess Daisy ENFP, Luigi ISFJ. I can do more later on like the Paper Mario series and Super Mario RPG posts in depth at a later date. In short I type Mallow INFP btw and Geno INTJ.

2020.08.07 06:18 pony-boi I feel so lonely.

Hi all you lovely people. I feel alone. I dont know what to do.
I am a 20 year old ENFJ, not sure my enneagram, trans guy.
My mom is an ESTJ 6w5 and my dad is an ESTP 7w8. They dont support me. They sent me to conversion therapy before but we're all pretending that didnt happen. I have only recently stopped getting nightmares. I still get anxiety attacks about it. I live at home because my job isnt the best paying (scientist undergrad).
Anyways thats only a little bit of the issue.
I fell in love once in highschool, got my heart shattered by that girl, and I never loved anyone ever again. And it bugs me because I want to (not that I would REALLY be able to date with my parents and all).
I have two friends I hold dear. The rest are all much less close because I havent felt a real connection with anyone. I try. I talk to people at the gym, online, anywhere I can. But it feels like no one sticks.
I LOVE my two friends. Im planning a tea party for them once Covid is over. The relationships are strictly plaltonic.
For the past months, though especially the last 3 days ive felt so lonely romantically. I want so dearly, to be planning a tea party for me and a girl. Ive been practicing love songs, and I just wish I could will it into existence like I do with all my other goals (i applied to a science job by pure grit and charisma, survived conversion therapy, saved money to begin hormone therapy, stand up for myself, fight for my life etc).
Its not the time, I need to heal. but I wish so badly that it was.
Update: I asked the girl I had been talking to if she liked me. She said no. Oh well. I feel good for asking.

2020.07.29 23:57 4mwewpj4 Clearing up an Si misconception.

Si doesn’t mean you have a good memory. It just means you use it/rely on its use/value a lot.
Which I guess overtime, you’d get pretty good at it. But THAT DOESNT MEAN ITS BETTER THAN OTHERS. it also puts a focus on WHAT you memorize. Ni is good at memorizing stuff too. They just do it differently with different things. You ever met an INTJ? They’re insane. They’re like walking university textbooks.
I have a friend who’s a heavy Si user (pretty sure ISFJ) and by that I mean in almost everything she does and says she’s always referring to a memory in a kind of mechanical way. It’s not frivolous and reminiscent and nostalgic, although sometimes it is, it’s usually just in passing/casual conversation and she’ll say things like ‘I remember it was [this] because this happened/that was the day that/etc etc.’
Actually now that I think of it, it probably is somewhat frivolous and reminiscent and nostalgic due to her aux Fe but because she doesn’t want to seem wishy washy all the time she tries to hide her sentimental value attached to her memory by expressing them in a more detached way. I bet you inside, she’s screaming. She always talks about how ‘emotional’ she is. She just ‘feels’ so much all the time. Whatever that means
Anyways. There are times when I’ve caught her slipping on the accuracy of her memories. When I catch her she seems little offended. 😂🙄 I have another friend who’s an ESTJ. She uses her memory a lot and she relies on it somewhat too but let me tell you it’s pretty shit. It’s always spotty, always vague, accuracy is not important in her case, and the ISFJ friend I have goes bonkers when the ESTJ friend is recounting a story, event, or incident and she gets a date or detail wrong but with the utmost Te like confidence (it doesn’t bother me, but my ISFJ friend’s reaction to it is funny).
Anyways, depending on what your Si is paired with, it’s probably not going to be super accurate with all things, just some things.
Fe + Si = mems abt people and nice days and bad days and sad days and all that gooey shit. Te + Si = probably memories about system and procedures. I find they’re more detail oriented when it comes to precision. It’s the objectivity of any extraverted function, without the emotion attached to it. Which is interesting because memory is inherently attached to emotion (psychology).
Hm. On second thought, can someone explain to me how Si + Te work? Seems I don’t quite understand it.

Ichigo Kurosaki - This guy is probably the archetype for the ISFP. Everyone on this blue earth knows Ichigo, I've never seen this man mistyped by anyone ever just like L for INTP. ISFP is so obvious and such a perfect fit for Ichigo. He's chill and calm and lives by his Fi values and morality with things and everything he does. He lives day to day and fully lives in the moment with his Se and responds to details as they come to him with it too while focusing on fully today and that's it. He doesn't really know what he wants for the future from what I remember and he just lives for handling things today as they come and focuses on what he can understand and see right now. He helps a ghost girl and spirits that he sees in the beginning of the series and handles day to day things and follows his heart with everything he does. Once Rukia comes into play things get more interesting in his life and he at first is reluctant to all the strange things that's been happening the past day and trust his practical Se over any supernatural stuff and fighting a Hollow which seems crazy to him.He yells at Rukia and asks what's going on after he spontaneously beat the follow with his Se. She tells him and he rejects it, she gives her speech and forces him to be Soul Repear and his adventures start from here. I will admit, I a definitely an old school Bleach fan from back in the day, and I watched all the big 3 anime from One Piece, Naruto and Bleach so I definitely know the series but I admit I haven't watched the series in a long time so forgive me if I missed anything or said anything wrong factually from you Bleach fans out there, all of this is coming from memory as I watched it as a kid so be forgiving for any misremembered information on my part. So yeah, I think that's it and as much as I can talk about with Ichigo as a casual Bleach fan myself. I still like the series even though I'm not a huge fan myself and the series kind of fell off through the years, but I think its still a good series overall and it looks like its finishing from this date of me writing this of the anime coming back. But yeah, Ichigo the greatest ISFP of all time for sure.
Ichigo ISFP post:
https://lawsheart.tumblr.com/post/129420517958/ichigo-kurosaki-mbti-weaknesses-isfp-they/amp
Choji Akimichi - Where do I start with Choji and this amazing character here. So Choji is awesome, I think most people know this already. When you start off Naruto you might not think this but no actually he is a really awesome character and has a great relationship and friendship with Shikamaru in the series. Where do I begin, Choji is very inner value driven and cares a lot about his friends with his Fi. He lives in the moment and responds to details he sees in the moment and lives for today. Any type can like sensory pleasures like food, Luffy is ENFP and love meat for example but Choji does love food and eating in a very SP kind of way. He lives pretty in the moment with his Se and almost to a fault too as Asuma sensei tells him "Choji, you need to stop eating and focus on your training!" This saddens him greatly and he's forced to think about and looks down in regret and grief. He later listens though and tries to train a bit. This affects him greatly as we see him taking the sound ninja fights seriously and showing his progress as a ninja finally to us and his friends. He fights the sound ninja guy alone, and ends up using the food pills one by one to win at all costs. He takes the last big pill and turns into the great Butterfly Choji and gets his major badass moment in the fight and series here. Choji's Fi values and love for his friends shows through here, the guy badmouthing them and Shikamaru was the last straw and Choji's inner Fi isn't having any of it and he destroys him with each blow saying to him never say bad stuff about my best friend again. What more do I have to say, it's Choji, he's one of the best ISFPs of all time in anime history. You got to love his character he's amazing regardless if your a fan of him or not. He's not shown as much in Shippuuden but he's still shown enough to enjoy his character and dynamic still in the series.
Great Chouji post here and Tsunade is ESTP actually in my opinion, you can read why in my ESTP post linked above:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/famous-mbti.tumblr.com/post/111902846161/mbti-in-naruto/amp
Perona - Ok so onto Perona now. Perona is definitely ISFP, she's a really, really loud one! And extroverted introvert! But definitely ISFP for Perona for sure! And most people agree, Perona is driven by her inner values, deep emotions, and lives in the moment and responds to details as they come to her in the moment. She's very cutesy and cares a lot about cute things with her Fi, to the point of telling the Bearsy guy to stop talking because it isn't cute at all, her Fi is strong and even her Te inferior too. She's pretty bossy for a ISFP, her Te is definitely there but she's not the most efficient at the end of the day and toys with Usopp the whole fight against him with her inferior Te and Fi dom when she could have beat him at any point in time if she wanted. And we see her lack of Te confidence when she whines and screams when Usopp gets the upperhand and is about to shoot her and she pleads for her life and mercy and gets really sensitive and nice with her Fi and also with her running away from lack of Te inferior confidence when Usopp proves to be able to beat her and not be affected by the ghosts and causes her to run in fear and not face him head on at all with her Te inferior showing through here too. She's a bit selfish with her Fi and wants things to always go her way because she feels strongly about things and cares about her inner values and satisfaction with things with her Fi. She's a little spoiled and nags people all the time on what she wants and wants them to do for her too, she drives Zoro and Mihawk mad because of this behavior from here. Like a said a very loud ISFP with her and a strong extroverted side even though she's an introvert and ISFP definitely. Her Ni tertiary has her look at things behind the scenes sometimes and suspect what's actually going on like with going on the ship and loading cargo and with suspecting Kuma when he showed up as well. Overall she's great and amazing ISFP and awesome One Piece character, she's very popular and has an amazing power too with the ghosts and using them to sap the energy and drive out of people by lowering their self-esteem and causing them to be incapacitated and can't move basically as well. Love Perona, she'll always be one of my favorite One Piece characters and a lot of One Piece fans favorite too.
Perona is listed here by Fictionalcharactermbti, I agree with the list except for some like Juvia who is definitely an INFP and NF romantic idealist for sure:
https://fictionalcharactermbti.tumblr.com/post/140108091379/any-female-isfp-characters
James from Pokemon - Here's definitely the ultimate ISFP in anime too with James from Pokemon and Team Rocket. James is value driven with his Fi and has strong inner emotions about things and doesn't know how to express them very well. He's a bit shy at times and struggles to show what he truly means and feels at times to others too. He's kind of loving and caring for a villain and a bit romantic and loving in a ISFP way but not NF style way, just Fi dom in general way if that makes sense. He has family issues and doesn't want to face them immediately and brushes them under the rug and ran away from home. Eventually he has to deal with these troubles and emotions whether he wants to or not in one episode when I believe he sees his family again and the previous loved one her loved again. James lives in the moment and responds to details around him in the moment as well as they come to him. He's a bit impulsive and tries to respond to whatever works in the moment without planning or thinking ahead usually. He can be very unconfident at times with his low Te inferior and he has to build it up and try to be braver and more efficient than he is usually to get his goals done and be a more confident person as a whole in life and face his problems and issues head on more. James is awesome overall and one of the best ISFPs in anime for sure.Check out this James ISFP post down below:
James ISFP post, they did a good job with most of the Pokemon characters except Ash I disagree, Ash Ketchum is the ENFP stereotype and idealistic NF and future oriented dreamer for sure in my opinion along with other people too:
https://mbtifiction.com/2015/09/24/james-pokemon-isfp/
Kid Simon - One of the GOATs from Gurren Lagann and of the best ISFPs ever of all time. kid Simon is ISFP and Adult Simon is INFJ. But overall kid Simon is the face of Simon and the series for him on posters and everything. kid Simon is value driven and focuses on his inner values strongly and is very emotional and sensitive inside and struggles to show his Fi emotions a lot too. He's very grounded and in the moment with his Se and responds to details around him easily with his Se as well. His ter Ni can looks behind the scenes and come up with a plan when necessary as well like when Kamina believed in him. He Te inferior makes him not confident and efficient and has his struggle to take charge in situations with his Te inferior. Simon gains confidence eventually in comes into his own and becomes a great leader eventually. He beats the Spiral King and saves the world temporarily until the Anti-Spirals come in the future. In the future Simon changes into an INFJ and changes personality completely. He uses his Ni more dominantly and changes into a Fe user for it as Fe aux with him. He becomes future oriented with his Ni and user Ti detail analysis and struggles to live in the moment with his Se inferior as an adult and INFJ then. But Kid Simon is definitely ISFP so I definitely had to put him here no doubt. One of the best of all time, love Simon and always will.
Shirahoshi - A clear Fi dom with Shirahoshi here and Se aux too. Shirahoshi is sensitive and emotions with her Fi sensitivity to things and is very inner value based and lives by her inner emotions and values to a large degree. She lives fully in the moment with her Se and reacts and responds to details fully in the moment as they come. She does still have goals she wants to do though with her Ni ter like going to the Sea Forest because of her mother and wanting to see the outside world and what its like too. Her Te inferior is clear since she is always unconfident and struggles with efficiency and doesn't want to go outside because of lack of courage and low Te inferior in her and she always cries a lot and is hurt easily emotionally with her Fi dom sensitivity again being affected by every little thing Luffy says, which causes Luffy to give her the Weepyhoshi name and stereotype. Overall she builds confidence and goes and leaves the palace with her inferior Te and gets things done when she can. She's becoming a very important character in the story and her role is very important as Mermaid Princess and more of course I'll say without spoiling anything for anyone that hasn't seen One Piece yet. She's a great character despite what people say and has a big impact on the story of One Piece as people know already with her character and importance to the story as One Piece fans already know what I'm talking about here. Great character and a really great ISFP too.
Link from Legend of Zelda - One of the best ISFPs of all time in gaming history of course with Link from the Zelda games. Link is very Fi value driven and is a true hero at heart and lives by his own inner values and not by society's values at all with Fe. Fi inner values is everything to Link and in games like Ocarina of Time we see how sensitive he is with his Fi and how he can struggle with confidence and efficiency with his Te inferior too. Despite this Link is a trucker and go getter who gets up when he's brave enough and does some of the bravest things in gaming history, while fighting some of the toughest monsters around. His Se is very useful for him using auxillary, he responds to details fully in the moment very quickly and is very hands on with having a lot of tools and gadgets he comes across in the series and franchise. Link can manage and handling any tool or utility and item he receives and spontaneously learns how to use it effectively on the spot. Reacting to details in the moment with his Se and being so good with any tool or new weapon he gains and comes across has always been evidence with link, he's definitely a Se user and is very hands on and spontaneous with his Se and reaction to details and handling tools and weapons against bosses and during tough situations to solve puzzles at a moments notice on the spot in moment at anytime in the series and games he's in. It's Link, he's one of the GOAT ISFPs for sure. Check it this great ISFP Link post down below:
https://funkymbtifiction.tumblr.com/post/141041813919/the-legend-of-zelda-link-isfp
Roxas from Kingdom Hearts - Roxas from Kingdom Hearts is definitely ISFP, he's not INFP definitely a Se aux user with him. Roxas is a Fi dom and is very inner value driven with his Fi. He's very sensitive and emotional but fails and struggles to express his inner deep Fi emotions in situations. His Se has him live fully in the moment and respond to details as they come to him in the moment today. He doesn't think about the future very much at all and would much rather focus on things going on day to day. Sometimes he gets Ni hunches about things and goes after them on what he's thinking about or sees and is suspecting behind the scenes that he feels his Ni ter hunch will tell him a secret about or answer to something strange that's going on, this all happens constantly in the fake Twilight Town with him and the nobodies. He struggles with Te confidence a lot of the time and efficiency and gets hung up on his Fi dom emotions, but when he's angry he gives into his Fi rage and Te inferior, and it all comes out and makes him charge in and get headstrong out of nowwhere and face people and situations like fighting Seifer in the tournament and beating him once and for all. He's very impulsive with his Se and when his Fi gets angry about things and towards people and others, he jump right into things with his Se without thinking of a second thought or the future at all while raging fully in the moment as a Se aux user and emotionally Fi dom too which is his whole entire character the whole franchise of Kingdom Hearts, emotionally responding to things he can't understand with his Fi and Se impulsiveness and anger towards everything and everyone he's mad at all the time and things he can't understand at all to him. Roxas is very sensitive with his Fi and inner emotions he struggles to express, it drives his whole character in KH 2 and 358/2 days. His emotions are strong and he's very empathetic and emotional person, what more do I have to say Fi is Roxas's character and Se is a major part of him to with responding to details in the moment and live life day by day and not understanding what's going on with his life and everything and always being confused on complex and abstract matters with his pratical and down to earth Se and not knowing how to handle it with his sensitive Fi dom emotions as well too. Roxas is Roxas, one of the best ISFPs ever in my opinion and many other people as well, amazing character and very well written in general too I truly believe. Check out this amazing Roxas ISFP post down below:
https://funkymbtifiction.tumblr.com/post/106548998897/kingdom-hearts-roxas-isfp
Zuko from Avatar the Last Airbender - Zuko is one of the most stereotypical ISFPs of all time. He's very emotional and follows his inner values to a large degree. He struggles to follow his own way and figure out what's right in the world and what right and wrong are anymore to him with the decisions he makes in life. He responds to details in the moment, is about action, and is very impulsive with his Se. Sometimes he makes the wrong decision with his Se and sometimes he makes the right one. He misses the obvious and truth sometimes and struggles a lot with hidden meaning with things and doesn't understand wisdom and needs constant guidance and answers in life with his down to earth Se and Fi inner values needed assurance which his INFP uncle Iroh does a good job filling the void in with him. Zuko is definitely ISFP, he lives by his inner values and struggles with his sensitive and confused inner emotions and can't express himself very well and struggles to be efficient and even confident with decisions sometimes with his Te inferior. His Fi explodes all the time with things and Se impulsive in the moment rages as well. He lives fully in the moment with his Se and lives life responding to details day to day and struggles to think or figure out what's going to happen in the future all the time. When he's not caught in grips with his in the moment Se or emotion Fi he can be future oriented sometimes with his Ni ter and gets hunches about things and suspects things behind the scenes with his Ni ter as well. But overall he lives fully in the moment today and responds quickly to details in the moment with his Se aux and is very sensitive and has complex and confused Fi emotions that he struggles to express constantly in the series. He tries to train his Te inferior and get goals and jobs done and work toward his goal with find the Avatar with his Ni and Te and staying focused on the goal as efficiently as he can even though he struggles with his Te inferior a lot in the series. Zuku is one of the best ISFPs out there and definitely deserves the popularity he gets for his amazing character as a villain, anti hero, and eventual hero too and redemption story he has. Here's an excellent Zuko ISFP post down below talking about him in depth:
https://fictionalcharactermbti.tumblr.com/post/120167790579/zuko-isfp-avatar-the-last-airbender
Stain - I had trouble on Stain in the past, but people online convinced me on ISFP and it makes sense. Stain is definitely very value driven and definitely has Fi in him for sure. His inner values are everything to him no doubt for sure, he's definitely an Fi dom. He does live in the moment though it seems and responds to details in the moment apparently with his Se aux. He's impulsive and doesn't plan much at all for the future. He just goes from city to city killing people and doesn't have a clear goal or method of enacting his dream of getting back at heroes and finding someone worth of being a true hero out here amoung all the fakes in his eyes. ISFP makes a lot of sense for Stain, so yeah. I'm fine with that and fully alright with putting him on here on this list.
Deidara - He is definitely ISFP and Fi dom here for sure. He fits the ISFP artist stereotype and definitely a Fi dom who lives by his inner values and artistic prowess and values toward artistic creations and things with his clay power he has. His Se helps him see details and react to details in the moment and sculpt clay models at will with great detail and accuracy of creation of the dolls in the moment with his Se. Definitely ISFP for Deidara for sure, check out this ISFP post on him down below:
I type Hidan ESTP, and I think Kabuto is ISTJ but Deidara is ISFP for sure here:

Oolong from Dragon Ball
Yajirobe from Dragon Ball
Moritaka Mashiro from Bakuman
Sena
Tsuna
Ikalgo from Hunter x Hunter
Ojiro from My Hero Academia
Rikido from My Hero
Kota from My Hero
Emerald from Pokemon Adventures
Tracey from Pokemon
Snorlax from Pokemon, Not Trolling, haha.
Eren Yaegar
Inuyasha
Arrietty
Tomura Shigaraki
I type Ryuko Matoi ESTP from Kill la Kill. I type Sasuke Uchiha INTJ from Naruto and Ni dom and Te aux user. I type Shoto Todoroki INTJ. I type Killua INTP, him and Gon (an Ne dom user not Se user, and Si inferior user too) have a great INTP and ENFP relationship and friendship in the Hunter series as NP friends that see the world in similar ways and light. I type Brook ESFP from One Piece. I type Android 16 ISFJ from Dragon Ball. I type Cloud Strife INFP from FF VII.
Here's my Gon Freecss ENFP post here and argument if you want to debate and see why he's a Ne dom and Si inferior with it developed and hardly uses Se much at all hence the ENFP typing opinion here I did above. Check out my post down below if your interested:
https://www.reddit.com/mbti/comments/d7pprz/why_gon_freecs_is_enfp_and_uses_ne_primarily_ove
Also Gon is ENFP mentioned here in this Nen types categories and MBTI correlation post here. This post is really good and I like it. Types I agree with are Gon Freecss as ENFP, Killua as INTP, Kurapika as INTJ, Leorio is close but I see Leorio as an ESFJ like many others, and Hisoka is ENTP not INTP. Chrollo INFJ, Franklin ISFJ, and more but I usually stop there when I write out this comment responding to this post and share it with people:

2020.07.28 05:42 TCBeyond What's the difference between ESTP and ESTJ

So i was tested and got ESTP yet people say i am way more ESTJ. I am chill and fun loving person but they say whenever i envision or i want something i got absolutely no chill even if it means losing friends and people in my life just for the goal. Especially when it comes to partners, I dated once an ISTP and we didn't get along she was always not serious about everything in her life and very slow.

L - The GOAT INTP of all time in anime and fictional history. This man is basically Einstein another INTP in real life. L, I mean what do I say from what hasn't already been said? He's a genius, clear Ti dom, sees logical inconsistencies with his Ti dom to a huge degree. Is very indecisive with his Ti and Ne brainstorming he always does. He likes to play things safe with his Si tertiary function and isn't the most emotional person with Fe inferior and struggles sometimes a bit in social settings and manners and respect, I mean he sits with his feet out for christ sake on the couch, haha. But yeah its L. He's an amazing character, he threw Light for a loop so many times and they had the perfect Ne and Ni battle as an INTP vs INTJ relationship and rivalry there, and yes everyone I called Light INTJ because that's what he is in my opinion. They have the perfect INTP vs INTJ dynamic in the show and its an amazing thing to watching these two introverts and genius masterminds go at it with mind games with each other and play cat and mouse with each other trying to catch each other and get each one off guard somehow with their wits and logic. One of the greatest shows of all time and anime and one of the greatest characters of all time too.
Here's a great L INTP post, here's a few actually:
https://mbtifiction.com/2015/09/10/l-death-note-intp/
https://animeinmbti.tumblr.com/post/144505263958/death-note-l-lawliet-intp
Here's a list of all the Death note Characters and I agree with most of the typings on this list and type Light INTJ, L INTP, and Misa Amane ENFP for sure of the three of them and fully agree with this list. And Ryuk ENTP of course too:
https://www.cbr.com/myers-briggs-death-note-characters/
Here's also a great Death Note MBTI types video discussing there types in depth that I all again fully agree with as well. Check this video out too when you get the chance and are free, it's really great, here it is down below, it talks about the terrible movie too, haha but the anime of course as well too in comparison:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_y5Z344kpI&t=707s
Killua Zoldyck - One of the best INTPs of all time in anime history. People get confused on this with Killua and his feelings just like Yusuke who is ESTP, not a feeler character at all in my opinion and many others. Killua is INTP and a clear Ti dom in my opinion and other people's opinion too. Killua is not a INFP or Fi dom! He's definitely a Ti dom and Fe inferior user. Killua is logical and sees logical inconsistencies with everything he sees and does and does analysis with his Ti all the time with every situation he's in everywhere all the time no matter what he does or is going through at the moment. He clearly is a Ne aux user as he brainstorms all possibilities all the time at a moments notice in every situation he's ever in again. This guy imagines scenarios and every scenario with his Ne and Ti dom to an absurd degree, I don't think people realize this sometimes and how much he really does it in the series. Ti and Ne analysis is everything to Killua and his character.
He struggles heavily with Fe and reading people's emotional state and being emotionally supportive and caring for society values with his Fe, he gets embarrased when Gon an ENFP and happy go lucky innocent one and idealistic NF himself tells him honestly like most ENFPs do how much he likes him and cares for him and glad he met him and made him as a friend, typical ENFP and NF idealism and honesty and ENFP loving friendship stereotype. Killua blushes and says how can you say stuff like that and not be embarrased, Gon looks at him innocently and is wondering why and what's the big deal since he's so innocent and very NFP acting in this scene. Killua despite this Fe struggle in him and embarrassment of expressing himself and his emotions to Gon, he still has a decent grip on his Fe inferior function as he vows to look out for Gon and sympathizes with him and calls him his friend and is emotionally supportive when he can be and looks out and likes to take care of Gon like typical Fe users are known for doing of taking care of a people alot with their Fe and being emotionally supportive and there for them and the people they love and care about like Killua is doing looking out for Gon with his Fe inferior in these scenes and stalking him on dates like with Palm just to make sure he's safe and well and not hurt or being ambushed by anyone until he gets his Nen back from the previous Knuckle fight loss.
Killua struggles with his Si ter, he struggles with taking risks and relies on his Si security and Ti Ne analysis and wants to improve the probability of success to an extreme degree before striking and going for something he's after or a goal he needs to do. Bisky points out this Si weakness in him and says if he doesn't fix this weakness now than he can never see Gon ever again. Killua finds out a needle in his head from Illumi was the cause and pulls and breaks it out from his head, he's free from it and its clutches and control but we still see his Si remembering details and relying on Si ter security in scenes after this needle part is removed from his head even afterward, show he's still a Si ter user despite it. Killua remembers details from the past in great detail and accuracy with his Si tertiary and brings back past details with his Si when he realizes something after brainstorming about a problem or issue with his Ti and Ne and trying to find a solution to fix something he's experiencing currently. What more do I have to say, its Killua. He's the ultimate INTP character, next to others as well. This is my first Killua post and I'm happy I did it finally, I'm definitely gonna make a separate Killua post from this one day and post it as a thing alone on its own like my other posts. Killua deserves it because he's an amazing character and one of the best INTPs of all time for sure.

If you disagree on my Gon Freecss typing, check out why I type Gon Freecss ENFP for sure definitely here and why he uses Ne and Si more over Se much more often as a Ne dom and Si user in the series as an stereotypical ENFP character in the Hunter series.
My Gon Freecss ENFP post, how he uses Ne and Si much more in the series over Se for his ENFP typing in my opinion:
https://www.reddit.com/mbti/comments/d7pprz/why_gon_freecs_is_enfp_and_uses_ne_primarily_ove
He was also mentioned here as ENFP in this cool Nen types and MBTI types correlation post I really like too. The typings I agree with they typed are Gon ENFP, Killua INTP, and Kurapika INTJ. I disagree with and type Leorio ESFJ rather and Hisoka ENTP and Chrollo INFJ, Franklin ISFJ among many others but that's all I'll put for now. Check it out down below, its a really great post:
https://www.reddit.com/HunterXHuntecomments/732ypx/nen_personalities_and_the_correlation_to_the/
Shikamaru - Now this guy is the true ultimate INTP haha. Shikamaru is a clear Ti dom and Ne aux user and definitely INTP. Most people agree on this on Shikamaru as a clear INTP, I've seen sometimes him mistyped ISTP and I strongly disagree with this. Ti dom logical analysis is everything to this man and brainstorming and imagining future possibilities and all possibilities in his mind with Ne is everything to his character and Shikamaru. This Ti dom logical analysis and Ne brainstorming is the core of his hand stance to focus and find a solution to a tough problem he's facing in a rough situation. He did it against Temari, does it in Shogi and countless other times in the series. This man is a Ti dom and Ne aux genius and everybody knows this usually. He daydreams about the future with his Ne and imagining his whole life in the future, how many kids he would have, what kind of job and wife he'd have, and living a peaceful and old life in the future after they grew and he retired as a ninja as we saw him daydream in that scene with his Ne aux for sure. He's scatter-brained with his Ne and has trouble focusing sometimes to things and hates details and thinks everything is a drag and is very lazy and laid back. Despite this he can remember details with his Si to a large and decent degree. He remembers details in the past and brings them back in talks to situations like with Naruto and him saying you remember what that guy "Gaara said?" About him wanting to kill them and loving only himself and that he will kill them eventually no doubt in the future, just you wait. Shikamaru never forgot that and those words and held onto them to a large degree and brought them up with his Si again in the current situation he was in.
We see his Si duty show up when he declares he's responsible as Chuunin leader of the team and retrieval of Sasuke, he vows to protect them with his life and save Sasuke because he's Hidden Leaf Village Konoha shinobi, his Si duty and loyalty to Sasuke as a Konoha ninja is very apparent here even though he says he doesn't care for Sasuke or even like him very much at all himself. His Si gets hung up on the past again when he blames himself severly on not saving the others and not taking care of them and getting them hurt and close to near death and thinks he failed as a Team Leader and Chuunin as well. He gets the speech from Temari and his dad and then the doctor and nurses say everyone of his friends is gonna be just fine and are all still alive and well, he tries to hide it but cries and is deeply relieved and sad and happy at the same time, and then he says "next time the plan will go perfectly..." He says while completely in tears. We again earlier before this scene see Shikamaru's clear Ti and Ne brainstorming analysis skills with how he analyzes every scenario and possibility during the Sasuke retrieval fights and as they approach and jump through the trees.
His Ti sees every logical detail and inconsistency and his Ne brainstorms and imagines every possibility imaginable too that could happen in the future with the sound ninja there facing and chasing. He also has careful Si observation again as he careful observes and shows his detail oriented Si with noticing the hidden thread that Naruto couldn't see and almost missed and stepped on and Shikamaru said "Naruto! Stop!" and he did at the last second and caught him with his Shadow Possession Jutsu and stopped Naruto from stepping on it at the last second, Naruto's NF idealism for him as a ENFP and caring for friendship in Sasuke so much has Naruto anxious to save Sasuke at all cost because his Ne sees the possibility to do so but his eagner causes mistakes to happen like this but thankfully Shikamaru and his patience and Si observation is around to help him in sticky situations like this. Shikamaru is the best and we know this already, in his Temari fight he says he thought ahead of the next 200 moves ahead and every Ne possibility he could think of with his Ti and Ne here in this scene and fight against her, but his chakra was running low and its a drag to him so his perciever INTP laziness kicked in and he just gave up the fight because it would make things easier on him, this scene is hilarious and genius too and badass moment for him and typical lazy Shikamaru humor too. It's Shikamaru, you gotta love him, he's the ultimate INTP and one of the best INTP characters of all time.
Ging Freecss - I totally forgot about Ging! Ging Freecss is a clear Ti dom and Ne aux. He wants to find more information about the ruins with his Ti and Ne curiosity for learning more information. And he's logical and notices logical inconsistencies a lot with his Ti. We see how he's good at coming up with Ne ideas as he creates his own video game with his friends and likes the strange and interesting and loves doing new things and is very future oriented. He ends off the series of the anime saying "I'm still searching for what I want. I'm interested in what I can't see. You see Gon?" He ends the series off with this inspiring Ne line and this represents Gon's Ne as an ENFP too and they both connect with each other as Ne and NP people and parent and kid alike while sitting on the World Tree together.
Aokiji - Another amazing INTP and one of the best of all time again too. Aokiji is logical and goes against the norm with Ti noticing logical inconsistencies and in rules and traditions and his Ne works together with this as well and brainstorming possibilities and going against old social norms and systems of the marines. He asks a lot of Ne curiosity questions with his Ne and questions the Marines true ideals and sense of justice. He at first went with things with his Si but still used his Ne aux a lot like with letting Robin go and feeling it was the right thing to do and seeing this a way of seeing where destiny unfolds for her and the world. His Ne thinks is possible Robin might bring some change and might have needed to live for a reason and he gives into this possibility and lets the chance stand and keeps her alive to bet on this possibility of her being alive to be important for the world and maybe she'll find friends that care for her in the future after all, who knows. He says despite this reasoning letting her go that I'm not your friend but your enemy. Prove his hunch right for letting her live and go and find friends and runaway forever as a fugitive an criminal. His Ne was right and she found Luffy and the rest of the crew. Luffy and them gave her hope and security to live with and Aokiji asks the Ne question have you found the people your look for and proved my guess right back then? She responds yes and he accepts it and decides to watch from the shadows on where her and the straw hats bring the world in the future. He leaves the marines because his Ne doesn't agree with Akainu being Fleet admiral and his Si duty makes it his duty to fight him and beat him for the title. He loses and then leaves to maintain his ideals and then he lives on separate from the Marines name and clutches forver with following his own Ne and Si sense of justice. And yeah Fe emotions and feelings aren't his thing either, haha.
Kakashi - So Kakashi is one of the greatest and most stereotypical INTPs ever and I recently realized this. I used to back in the day type Kakashi ISTJ because of his backstory and obsessing over rules. But I suppose this was just him in his younger days focusing on his Si ter and for other reasons but yeah no Kakashi is definitely INTP. Kakashi sees logical details and logical inconsistencies with his Ti dom behavior all the time with situations. He imagines and brainstorms all possibilities with his Ne all the time too in every situation he's in. He's always asking Ne curiosity questions and sees patterns behind the scenes with his Ne and Si past detail observations. He definitely is a Si user and Si tertiary user. Kakashi walks with them to the Land of the Waves and escorts the bridge builder there, he notices a puddle with his Si careful observation skills and compares to the past weather that's been present from the past few days and weeks. He says "a puddle in the middle of the day when it hasn't rained in weeks?" Si observation and comparing and contrasting a detail from the current situation to a detail and details from the past with his Si clearly here. Kakashi is always daydream with his Ne and reading his book and learning new information with his Ne too, not all Ne users read books or even like to read but a lot of them love learning new information and most Ne users do love to read for curiosity and learning new information which Kakashi clearly does here, again not all Ne users like to read or have to read or like to do it to be a Ne user, also Ni users love to read too as well but Kakashi is clearly a scatter-brained Ne user who loves to learn new information with his Ne curiosity. And Kakashi is always late because he was caught daydreaming or doing something else or reading his book like always and loses track of time, clearly a scatter-brained Ne user and perciever with Kakashi here for sure, Kakashi is not a judger at all for all you INTJ fans out there or judger Kakashi fans. Everything about Kakashi and his behavior is scatter-brained and unorganized airheaded head in the clouds Ne and he's definitely a perciever no doubt and is very indecisive with his Ne brainstorming possibilities all the time too. His Fe inferior is clear, Kakashi is cool and popular with people but is socially inept and awkward with people and fails to be emotionally supportive and read people's emotions often. He's secluded and closed off and sociall distant and struggles with society values and respecting people's time with him always being late all the time and constant rudeness with his low Fe, haha. Which we know he doesn't mean and isn't intentional. But yeah its Kakashi, he's great an amazing and an INTP OG. I'll do a longer more in depth post on him in the future, but for now this is all I got for you guys and I think I did a pretty good job analyzing him thus far, thanks for reading on to the next character.
Here's a great Kakashi INTP post here:
https://fictionalcharactermbti.tumblr.com/post/147815002739/kakashi-hatake-intp-naruto-shippuden
Shoto Aizawa - Alright this guy people debate too much I think in my opinion. I respect everyone's opinions and stances but to me Aizawa sensei has always been a clear and obvious INTP to me. Aizawa is logical and sees logical details and inconsistencies all the time and cares a lot about accuracy with things, that much we all agree on. But here we go with his second function, Aizawa is a Ne aux user! He's scatter-brained, imaginative, sees all possibilities in a situation, sleeps in a freaking sleeping bag and doesn't care for appearance or details at all and hates living in the moment, he constantly thinks about the future and brainstorms with his scatter-brained Ne all the time, his hair is messy and dirty looking and he and he doesn't really care about sensory things or details at all and puts Ti logic and Ne brainstorming ideas and important things on his mind over sensory details and the details in sensory world as a whole often which he neglects on a regular basis in the series, and he's curious about everything and asks a lot of questions with his Ne aux too. He pays attention to things in great detail with his Si ter and is very detail oriented and has amazing memory with certain things with his Si that he remembers from the past and applies to current situation all the time. He cares about duty and honor to an extent as a Ne user and Si ter user and tells Deku he's fail him if he doesn't fix his weakness now because in the future he won't be able to save anyone and will basically fail his duty as a hero and need saving himself in those situations instead if he doesn't get his act together now and fix it. He has a strict side even as a NP himself and gives into his Si rules and regulations with the class a lot of the time saying he'll fail them all and lieing to them to make them try harder and put everything on the line for the test he did for them, he does this in later situations without lying and can be strict on the students with his Si ter a lot of the time in the future as well often. His Fe inferior is clear, he's not the most emotional supportive, social, or emotional guy in the world at all and he struggles with society values and caring for others as well. But deep down he is a good guy and shows his Fe warmth towards others when he can, but again its still a struggle with him. So yeah, Aizawa is definitely INTP in my opinion and some people see it too but some people don't and I never understood that personally because this guy is like the INTP stereotype in a lot of ways in my opinion for sure. But again there opinions, not absolute, everyone has them and are entitled to them. But I think I gave very strong and powerful evidence why Aizawa is clearly and definitely INTP in my opinion and many others too as well.
Here's an INTP list by CBR in which Aizawa appeared to my liking of course which I definitely fully agree with:
https://www.cbr.com/mbti-anime-characters-intps/
Fujitora, I'm pretty sure about this one but INFP is still a possiblity too.
Ginko from Mushishi
Tsuyu Asui from My Hero Academia
Professor Hojo from Final Fantasy VII
Dr. Gero from Dragon Ball
Dr. Wily from Megaman
Izzy from Digimon
Blaine from the Pokemon Adventures manga only, Blaine is ENTP from the Video Games from Pokemon Red, Green, Blue and Yellow versions. Along with all the other iterations as well besides the manga though.
Professor Oak from Pokemon, all iterations
Professor Elm
Max from Pokemon
C.C. from Code Geass
Senkuu from Dr. Stone
Sato from Welcome to NHK
Gintoki from Gintama
Kusou Saiki
Hachiman Hikigaya from Oregairu
Kenma from Haikyuu!!

Yuki Nagato from Haruhi Suzumiya
Illumi Zoldyk from Hunter x Hunter
Franken Stein from Soul Eater
Kisuke Urahara from Bleach
Joker from Persona 5
Futaba Sakura from Persona 5
I type Nico Robin INTJ and a massive Ni dom and Te aux user, Robin has focused and narrow and decisive Ni that's curious and focused on what's going on behind the scenes while seeing a few possiblities with her Ni tunnel vision and Robin is a organized and structured person, she doesn't have scatter-brained Ne curiosity and is not unorganized or a Ne airhead at all. She's in her head a lot with her Ni but is always a structured and organized Ni user person and is a decisive judger that comes to conclusions quickly with her Ni and then tries to prove her hunches and conclusions she gets early with her Ni and see if those hunches and decisive guesses about things are correct with more evidence she tries to find for it. Here's a Nico Robin INTJ post I made awhile back if you want to see my Ni dom points for Robin and Te aux points as well for her as an INTJ in depth here in the link down below:

I type Trafalgar Law INTJ. I type Piccolo INTJ from Dragon Ball Z. I type Van Hohenheim INFJ from Fullmetal Alchemist. I type Shinichi Kudo ENTP. I type Armin INFJ from Attack on Titan.

2020.07.18 04:07 123zxc098mnb What is my situation?

SO Backstory: I(24m infj) dated this girl (28f probably estj/p) for 1.5 years. I ignored so many red flags. She threaten to break up with me and then not message me more often than I would like to admit. Then towards the end she told me she does that just to hurt me and doesnt mean it. Then she broke up with me in a very harsh and unsatisfying way 6 months ago. Telling me it's all my fault, harassing me for money, etc.
I spent 3 months with therapists, workbooks, learning psychology and meditating. I got a really great job. Moved in with my friends. And my whole life shifted and objectively improved. My understanding of myself, my past traumas and life grew. I continue to learn to this day.
2 weeks ago she emailed me requesting I give back a $30 item. Met up with her today and gave it to her. Not sure if shes playing Mind games or wanted to say something (I was honestly hoping for an apology lol)
So here's my question...
I logically work through that my life is better. I am more whole. I am improved since the breakup and it was objectively good for me.
But my heart wants her to say something and apologize to me. My heart wants her to say she has learned her lessons and come back. My heart longs still...
I have troubles reconciling these vast differences between my heart and my mind. I always follow my heart and get burned. I always believe in people and I get let down so hard.
I love everyone on this forum and I just want to help people. I want to know. Why do I feel so damn much... ugh.
I guess I want to be happy and let these people who have treated me poorly out of my life and mind and heart.
Thanks for reading my rant.

2020.07.11 21:36 Yeebees MBTI on Social Media

Since my last stereotypes went so well, here’s my next crack at it. Note these are from my personal experiences with these types so if it doesn’t match your perfect description of your own type, I’m sorry.
INTP: Has a separate reddit/instagram account just for memes, sorry, only has a reddit/instagram account for memes
ENFP: Snap story and instagram flooded with pictures at parties with what seems to be a new friend group each time
ISTP: Either has deleted all social media because it’s pointless or has it for practical use only
ENTP: Talking to like 5 girls, in the friend zone with all of them
ESTP: Talking to like 7 girls, dating all of them
ESTJ: Writing walls of text on political posts because the post is inherently flawed
INFP: Stan accounts and ambiguous finsta posts galore
ESFJ: Photo shoots with inspirational quotes plastered across their instagrams
ENTJ: CEO, Business inquiries only
INFJ: Probably has accounts solely devoted to art, astrology or something floral
ISFP: Private snap stories of playing drinking games with friends while playing cards against humanity for the 3rd time in a week
ENFJ: Facebook mom, enough said
ESFP: Making weekly clickbait YouTube videos that garner a couple dozen views despite them being “prime content”
ISFJ: Has a relatively active media presence, but spends most of time and energy on insta and snap dms hashing out friend drama
INTJ: Goes on things like reddit and instagram a bit but mostly prefers to spend their time playing large bet online poker because it’s a better use of time
ISTJ: Runs a fact checking twitter of the president’s tweets because “someone has to keep him in line”
