Shah Rukh Khan vs Shah Rukh Khan: Actor said to be playing double role in Atlee’s next directorial
2020.09.22 09:28 CopyPastePosterShah Rukh Khan vs Shah Rukh Khan: Actor said to be playing double role in Atlee’s next directorial
Actor said to be playing double role of an investigating officer and a criminal in Atlee’s next directorial; will also be seen in 3 other films. Following the release of Zero in December 2018, Shah Rukh Khan took time off from work to introspect, read scripts and reinvent himself on screen. Though there has been no official confirmation yet, the actor is said to have okayed three films, starting with Pathan, which reunites him with his Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express and Happy New Year leading lady, Deepika Padukone, Rajkumar Hirani’s social comedy and a commercial potboiler with South filmmaker Atlee. Mirror has learnt that Atlee’s next will feature SRK in a double role. “Atlee and Shah Rukh have been discussing a potential collaboration for two years now and have brainstormed on multiple subjects. They have finally fixed on an action film, which has SRK playing an investigating officer of a top Indian agency and a most-wanted criminal. The story revolves around these two characters who are worlds apart, their conflict and confrontation,” revealed an inside source. Atlee is currently developing the script with Karan Johar’s team of writers. He will be co-producing the film with SRK. “Three of Atlee’s four directorials, Theri, Mersal and Bigil, feature the protagonist in double or triple roles. He loves exploring the different aspects of an actor’s persona within the same film. He is looking to continue the trend with two diametrically different characters in this film as well,” informed the source. SRK is expected to resume work with Sidharth Anand’s action thriller, tentatively titled Pathan, which pits him against John Abraham, who plays the larger-than-life antagonist. “It’s a story set primarily in Mumbai, with one overseas schedule,” shared the source, adding that the shoot is expected to go on till the second half of 2021. Only after completing Pathan, will the actor move on to Rajkumar Hirani’s social comedy, set against the backdrop of immigration issues, along with Atlee’s next. “Both the films are in the scripting stage now. Raju and his writing partner, Kanika Dhillon, are taking longer than what was expected. The MunnaBhai director is known to have everything on paper before taking the film on the floors, so that’s work in progress,” added the source. SRK is also in talks with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK for a quirky action thriller. The director duo has locked their script, including the dialogue draft, which SRK has liked. However, they are yet to get a go-ahead from him to start their prep. “Raj and DK are simultaneously working on other projects, including a web series,” the source pointed out. https://mumbaimirror.indiatimes.com/entertainment/bollywood/shah-rukh-khan-vs-shah-rukh-khan-actor-said-to-be-playing-double-role-of-an-investigating-officer-and-a-criminal-in-atlees-next-directorial/articleshow/78240727.cms

Sudan had since 2011 not paid OVL and partners for oil it bought from the block. The company initiated arbitration proceedings against the Government of Sudan to recover the dues and has terminated the Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement, he said. Upon the secession of South Sudan from Sudan in July 2011, the contract areas of Blocks 1, 2 and 4 which straddle between Sudan and South Sudan were split with a major share of production and reserves are now situated in South Sudan. Post-secession, as the government of Sudan's share of total production from Sudan was not sufficient to meet the requirements of local refineries, foreign firms were asked to sell their share of crude oil to it. The payment of dues on account of crude oil purchased by the government of Sudan was not received, the official said. Sudan had denied ONGC and partners an extension of licence to operate block 2B after the initial contract expired in November 2016.

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 61%. (I'm a bot)
WASHINGTON: India, Israel and the United States have begun collaboration in developmental area, and in next generation of emerging technologies, including a transparent, open, reliable and secure 5G communication network, a top official has said. The branching out of this trilateral initiative in development and technological arena is a result of the people-to-people collaboration, in particular those by Indian diaspora in the US and Israel, that was initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his historic visit to Israel three years ago in July 2017, community leaders said. A collaboration in 5G is a just tip of the iceberg and a first step, according to US Agency for International Development Deputy Administrator Bonnie Glick. "Because we'll collaborate in science and research and development in coming up with the next generations of technologies, things that the likes of you and the rest of us on the phone can't even imagine what they might be. But by partnering by officially, affirming the importance of this relationship, we'll advance it," Glick told PTI in an interview after the US-India-Israel forum featuring discussions on strategic, tech and development/water cooperation held last week. "In July, I chaired a roundtable discussion with several like-minded donors on 5G and digital development. To me, it was extremely important that India and Israel be part of that conversation. And the discussion was richer because of their contributions," she said. "Our partnerships with Israel and India, given our peer-to-peer relationship, exemplifies the importance of working together on issues related to water, water management and security," Piedra told PTI. M R Rangaswami from Indiaspora, who presented the tech-triangle concept to Modi in Israel in 2017, said the beauty of this model was because technology was a commonality in the three things, all kinds of "Incredible things" had come out of it.
2020.09.03 08:06 Meliodas_2222How to have good sex? 7 step guide
How to have good sex?
Sex is intimate yet one of the most profound experiences known to mankind. However, there is always a difference between good sex and bad sex. While you may think you have already had the best sexual intercourse with your partner, it might surprise or excite you to know that the fun is yet to begin. That being said, many times we think that we have mastered the art of intimacy, but truth be told, it is only the beginning of your pleasurable adventures. Therefore, in order to give yourself a satisfying and pleasurable experience, here are 7 steps to have good sex.
1.) Firstly, make sure your partner wants to have sex
Consent is extremely important before you initiate any form of sexual movement. If your partner isn’t in the mood to have sex and you force it upon them, then it will only be painful and displeasing. Therefore, make sure your partner too wants to have sex.
2.) If your partner has agreed, pick a comfortable spot
Well, if both of you are in the mood then the next step is to get yourselves the perfect spot for the play. May be comfortable bed does it for you or may be a springy sofa or maybe you like doing it in a standing position. Whatever it is that pleases the both of you, is what you should go for.
Now that you’re at the peak of your desires, you must engage in a penetrative sex. Be slow and smooth about it, so that it ignites more passion than pain.
5.) The process of love-making
Once you begin the process of love making, make it fun and exciting by engaging in multiple sex positions. This will not only make it more thrilling but also draw you nearer to your climax.
6.) Wait for the climax
While many may believe that their point of climax is the most wonderful point of love-making, but to be honest, the wait for the climax is all the more stimulating and sensational. Therefore, to elevate and enhance the experience, hold it until both of you are ready for the explosive experience.
2020.08.31 16:30 Smart_SmellWhy are Visa, Mastercard and PayPal ready to integrate crypto payments?
Why are Visa, Mastercard and PayPal ready to integrate crypto payments? In the past few months, payment giants Visa, Mastercard and PayPal have radically changed their attitude towards cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, announcing their intention to integrate crypto payments into their systems. It is about the process of global adoption of crypto-innovation in the world of traditional finance.
On March 16, 2018, Visa CFO Vasant Prabhu criticized cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, stressing that these assets are a bubble. Then Bitcoin was worth $8,300. On July 22 of this year, when the first cryptocurrency rose to $9,360, a message appeared on the official Visa blog with a completely different message entitled “Developing our approach to digital currency.” In this post, the company revealed that its partnership with two regulated crypto platforms, Coinbase and Fold, is part of a corporate strategy to integrate digital currencies into its payment system, reaching 61 million retailers. In its message, the company highlighted the importance of stablecoins, which “have stepped outside the fintech sphere,” and now include a number of financial institutions and central banks in their ecosystem. From the message of the payment giant it became known that “more than 25 digital wallets have linked their services to Visa.” Visa also noted that these 25 crypto service providers will be able to leverage the payment giant’s full range of capabilities, including the Visa Direct option and the FastTrack platform. It is worth noting that the corporation also supported financially the company Anchorage, which is studying the issues of cybersecurity of cryptocurrency ecosystems. Visa says the company’s main goal is “to continue to do what we do best: develop our system, supporting new forms of commerce.” On July 28, at a meeting with investors, in which Vasant Prabhu took part, it was said in detail that Visa sees great potential for its own development in the growing popularity of e-commerce and digital payments. It was also mentioned about the corporate payment system Visa B2B Connect, which is designed to perform international financial transfers without the help of the usually slow correspondent banking network.
A similar evolution is taking place before our eyes with Visa’s competitor — Mastercard payment system. So, on July 26, 2018, the CEO of Mastercard, Ajay Banga, compared cryptocurrencies to things that are thrown into the trash. However, two years later, the payment corporation has largely changed its approach to cryptocurrencies. On July 20, it became known that Mastercard has signed an agreement with the Wirex cryptocurrency company. This financial startup allows you to buy and sell cryptocurrencies for fiat money. Since last month, Wirex has become a member of the Mastercard ecosystem with the right to independently issue cards from this payment giant. We will remind that earlier, in February of this year, a similar decision was made by the Visa corporation in relation to the Coinbase crypto exchange. Moreover, Mastercard intends to launch a special program to support other crypto companies. As Raj Damodaran, Executive Vice President of Digital Assets, Blockchain Products and Partnerships, Mastercard explained, “The crypto market continues to evolve, and the corporation is helping to advance it by providing reliable and secure services for individuals and companies in the modern digital economy.”
Another payment giant, PayPal, has long been silent about any intention to integrate cryptocurrencies into its structure. However, on July 14, a letter from the corporation to officials of the European Commission was published in the media, where PayPal admitted that it is actively developing applications using cryptocurrencies. The number of PayPal users worldwide exceeds 300 million people, and the company operates in Europe thanks to its banking and payment services license obtained in Luxembourg. In total, the PayPal payment service is represented in 31 European countries, where the company serves 95 million merchants and retail consumers. It is worth noting that PayPal, along with Visa and Mastercard, was previously part of the Swiss Libra Association, which is implementing Facebook’s crypto project to launch the Libra stablecoin. The fact that PayPal is developing a roadmap for integrating its own payment crypto services is also clearly demonstrated by the announcement of the recruitment of members of the blockchain technology research team, which requires a senior research engineer. This specialist will be responsible for “development, creation and maintenance of key crypto products / services that will be focused on increasing the efficiency and scale of services provided by PayPal.” Information about the open vacancy appeared at the end of June. PayPal does not deny its interest in the cryptosphere, but has not yet confirmed information about the development of certain crypto applications or services, for example, based on the Venmo mobile application, which is affiliated with the payment giant.
Who will be the leader in this race?
Nevertheless, crypto market players themselves are actively looking for ways to integrate with PayPal. This is illustrated by the example of blockchain company Pundi X, which integrated PayPal support for its Xpos merchant device on July 1. Another player in the crypto industry, the fintech company Ripple, has not only supported the classic payment operator MoneyGram by buying 10% of its share capital and investing a total of $50 million, but continues to invest in the integration of cryptocurrencies into this service. Following the results of the second quarter, Ripple transferred $15.1 million to MoneyGram. It is curious that in June another payment operator, Western Union, became interested in the innovative successes of MoneyGram, which is considering buying a competitor. It is worth noting that back in January this year, experts from Credit Suisse Bank published a report in which they noted Western Union’s interest in blockchain technology and Ripple’s payment innovations. The competition for the integration of cryptocurrencies into the services of payment operators is becoming more and more intense. And one of the main participants in this race was the People’s Bank of China with a digital yuan project. At the same time, in January, even before the aggravation of relations between the United States and China, American PayPal became the first foreign payment operator to officially enter the Chinese market after acquiring a local player GoPay.
The next development step is neobanks
Meanwhile, a number of fintech startups are engaged in the integration of cryptocurrencies into financial services, which can potentially challenge all of the above organizations, including the People’s Bank of China with its digital yuan. Jack Dorsey’s Square company was able to receive revenue from operations with bitcoins in the amount of $306 million in the first quarter of this year. This cryptocurrency service was launched back in 2018, but only in 2020 saw a significant increase in financial indicators. At the same time, since March, through the Square Financial Services division, Jack Dorsey’s company has been able to provide services as a digital bank. Another fintech giant, Revolut US, with the support of crypto company Paxos, began offering cryptocurrency trading services in all US states on July 15, with the exception of Tennessee. Curiously, traditional financial service providers are also interested in a new partnership with the cryptocurrency “unicorn”. So, on June 20, the international company Revolut announced that it was integrating American Express services for its customers. In the case of Square, Robinhood and Revolut, this is not just about trading services, which are provided by various crypto exchanges. After all, all these companies are de facto neobanks — digital financial organizations that have every opportunity to integrate cryptocurrencies into their services, thanks to various partnerships. And the range of possibilities of such neobanks is much higher than that of traditional payment giants. That is why in the near future we will witness how Visa, Mastercard and PayPal will actively explore the possibilities of buying or investing in a ready-made cryptocurrency infrastructure. These corporations are entering the crypto world, as it is increasingly becoming a matter of their survival in the rapidly changing global financial system. Subscribe to our Telegram channel

They had reduced revenue even before covid-19 hit so that's obviously a concern. But I feel that the Amazon Business partnership and their digital media campaign gives them a chance to propel to better heights. The amount of Institutional Ownership (49%) reflects that sentiment. They have 55.5 million shares outstanding and about half of those are owned by mutual/pension funds, insurance companies, investment firms, etc. Stocks with a large amount of institutional ownership are often looked upon favorably. Large entities frequently employ a team of analysts to perform detailed and expensive financial research before the group purchases a large block of a company’s stock. Anyways, like I said - this is a new, non-circulated play for me. I bought 3K shares at 0.71 - I want to see how it moves over the next couple weeks. The volume is trashy, but with enough interest I feel confident it could move in the right direction. I'm not your financial advisor, I know very little about anything, do your own DD. And it works, judging by the amount of circulation of conspiracy posts that help move those headlines that masquerade as revealing connections, but are merely propoganda headline clones being disseminated. So lets get ahead of the lines before the lines get into your head. Humans have two primary modes of communication; verbal and nonverbal. Nonverbal is body language. Body language on it's own can give you insight. Pairing verbal and nonverbal gives you the whole picture. Headlines are verbal. The content is nonverbal. That's how you get a glimpse of the bigger picture. But we can't look at each article as a completed part of the communicative process. That would be like only watching hand gestures while having a conversation with someone. The article isn't the subject, the event is the subject, and if the subject was person, then we have to find as many articles as we can to profile the body language and interpret the nonverbal communication. Let me show you what I mean.

Trump. The man's Presidency has come at a time where it's all starting to fall apart. And I can't help but think of Trump as Julius Caesar part two. A populist leader who threatened the establishment and upended the republic, paving the way for Augustus Caesar and the soft introduction of Roman empire, as it let the pretenses of being a Republic fade away. If you aren't familiar with that time of history, I would highly recommend doing so. There is more to my comparison that I'm not elaborating on, except to say, if you dig you will find someone else who loves Roman history, looks like a clone of Augustus, and we watched as he made rounds while articles suggested that he had aspirations of becoming President. Do I think that it'll happen soon? Probably not. History doesn't repeat itself, but it rhymes. And we're only at the start of the Hollow Men by T S *Eliot *.
December 14, 2016: Techcrunch • President-elect Donald Trump met with some of the most prominent executives from the tech industry today at Trump Tower, with investor Peter Thiel and Vice President-elect Mike Pence at his side. Trump opened the meeting with CEOs from Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon and others by thanking Thiel for his support. “I want to add that I am here to help you folks do well. And you’re doing well right now and I’m very honored by the bounce. They’re all talking about the bounce. So right now everybody in this room has to like me, at least a little bit,” Trump said, perhaps in reference to the fact that he received little support from Silicon Valley during his campaign. “We’re going to try to have that bounce continue. Perhaps even more importantly, we want you to keep going with the incredible innovation. There’s nobody like you in the world. There’s nobody like the people in this room and anything we can do to help this go along, we’re going to be there for you. You’ll call my people, you’ll call me, it doesn’t make any difference. Attendees included Eric Schmidt and Larry Page of Google, Tim Cook of Apple, Satya Nadella and Brad Smith of Microsoft, Jeff Bezos of Amazon (who expressed his excitement that Trump’s administration could be “the innovations administration“), Safra Catz of Oracle, Chuck Robbins of Cisco and Sheryl Sandberg of Facebook. Thiel’s business partner, Palantir CEO Alex Karp, attended as well.
Those are big names and big companies. But they all hate Trump, right?
Thiel has been instrumental in shaping Trump’s approach to technology, helping assemble a list of candidates for technical roles in the upcoming administration and reportedly bringing David Sacks and other long-time associates to the transition team. During his speech at the Republican National Convention, Thiel talked about spreading the prosperity of Silicon Valley to other regions across the country and cited space travel as one of America’s great technological achievements. “Instead of going to Mars, we have invaded the Middle East,” Thiel said.
I should point out that Thiel and Musk started PayPal together.
November 24, 2019: Business Insider • What do the founders of YouTube, Yelp, Tesla, and LinkedIn have in common? Apart from leading massively disruptive technology companies, their founders all share a common resume line item: employment at PayPal. Known for their entrepreneurial mindset and anti-establishment attitude, this elite group is known as the "PayPal Mafia," and they all put in time during the payment platform's early days some 20 years ago. Source Here
Oh. And Pete's instrumental to creating Facebook. Thiel became Facebook's first outside investor when he acquired a 10.2% stake for $500,000 in August 2004. He sold the majority of his shares in Facebook for over $1 billion in 2012, but remains on the board of directors. And he funded Hulk Hogan's lawsuit to take down Gawker. Told ya, it's just political wrestling to entertain us.
However, one of the biggest proponents of travel to Mars, Elon Musk, has also been one of Trump’s most outspoken critics. Musk donated to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and frequently denounced Trump, saying that the former reality television star “doesn’t seem to have the sort of character that reflects well on the United States.” But since the election, Musk appears to have warmed up to Trump. He was a late addition to the invite list for today’s meeting. The transition team also announced this morning that Musk will join Trump’s strategic and policy forum, a group of business leaders that will serve as an advisory committee to the president-elect. Source Here
Musk and Trump, a marriage made in heaven. It's destiny, I tell you, destiny. Or an act (don't worry Elon, I haven't forgotten about you) designed to make us believe that somebody up there is fighting for us down here. Yet the inclusion of the quote about Mars and War in the Middle East stands out, wouldn't you agree? And we have environmental collapse triggers happening. Riots happening. Why those riots are also happening in Beruit, aren't they? And Isreal and Saudi Arabia don't get along with Lebanon, or the Hezbollah. And President Trump went from Suadi Arabia to Isreal, didn’t he? And wasn't there an explosion there recently? Must all be a coincidence. Let's get back to Pete the magical Thiel and see what else Hulk Hogan's buddy is mixed up in.
He co-founded Valar Ventures in 2010, co-founded Mithril Capital, serving as investment committee chair, in 2012, and served as a partner at Y Combinator from 2015 to 2017. Through the Thiel Foundation, Thiel governs the grant-making bodies Breakout Labs and Thiel Fellowship, and funds nonprofit research into artificial intelligence, life extension and seasteading. A co-founder of The Stanford Review, he is a conservative libertarian who is critical of high government spending, high debt levels, and foreign wars. He has donated to numerous political figures. At the 2009 Singularity Summit, he said his greatest concern is the technological singularity not arriving soon enough. Source Here
Singularity. Not. Arriving. Soon. Enough. Call me paranoid and pass the tin foil hat, but what Matrix code is needed to decipher his words intent? Not soon enough for what? Better Netflix selection? The Alien invasion? Godzilla awakening because of Fukushima? Are the Decepticons already here? Or have they been downplaying the ELE that's approaching? I'll take ELE for a thousand, Alex. So he's into AI (he backed Deepmind and OpenAI) and life extension. He went to Stanford. He's also going to have his body cryonically preserved. And his Palantir surveillance is, well, nottofreakyououtoranything, everywhere. Palantir's first backer was the Central Intelligence Agency's venture capital arm In-Q-Tel. Then Palantir became Big Brother. Literally. The Palantir clients include the CIA, DHS, NSA, FBI, CDC, the Marine Corps, the Air Force, Special Operations Command, West Point, the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Organization and Allies, the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. And Palantir is also being used by Banks, Hedge Funds, Financial Services, and other corporate clients. Big Brother wants to be Palantir went it grows up. Now, are you wondering why I started with Trump, Saudi Arabia and Isreal? Are you curious about how it goes from ex CEO of Google Eric Schmidt "playing" both sides of the fence to Palantir and Peter Thiel? Just sit right back and hold tight, cause I'm about to take you on a one way trip to a Brave New Normal World that's called 1984. Warning. What you're about to read will make you forever question every officially sanctioned narrative. Trust me. Still game? Are you sure? Last chance. You're about to leave neverneverland and you can't go back. Alright. Let's go.
It's All Hidden In Plain Sight.
Let's talk about Epstein. Yep. Him. I've been strangely quiet about Jeffery haven't I? Nothing written about the Captain Pedo and his Amazing friends didn't mean there was nothing there, it just meant that I didn't find anything that indicated something deeper than a pedophile blackmail ring. And sex and political blackmail is as old as time itself. There's a reason they say the world's two oldest professions are prostitutes and politicians. Yet it turns out the professional pimp and the abducted teens may be playing a bigger role than we thought.
July 31, 2019: NY TIMES • Mr. Epstein’s vision reflected his longstanding fascination with what has become known as transhumanism: the science of improving the human population through technologies like genetic engineering and artificial intelligence. Critics have likened transhumanism to a modern-day version of eugenics, the discredited field of improving the human race through controlled breeding. Mr. Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico, which he confided to scientists and others he hoped to use as the site for seeding the human race with his DNA.
Welcome to the Island of Dr. Moreau. We're it's the monsters trying to make humans. Do you still think this was all about blackmail, cause it wasn't. Stop thinking in normal terms, because normal is dead, long live the New Normal.
At one session at Harvard, Mr. Epstein criticized efforts to reduce starvation and provide health care to the poor because doing so increased the risk of overpopulation, said Mr. Pinker, who was there. Mr. Pinker said he had rebutted the argument, citing research showing that high rates of infant mortality simply caused people to have more children.
Epstein criticized efforts to reduce starvation and provide health care. Hmmmm. My memory is foggy, but isn't there someone in Africa trying to provide health care and reduce starvation? Who could that be? Wasn't he into computers and had pictures taken on Epstein’s private jet? Wasn't it Bill Gates? Now why would Billy be hanging around someone who would vocally espouse an ideology that is completely antithetical to his stated humanitarian goals?
Also at the Indian Summer dinner, according to an account on the website of Mr. Brockman’s Edge Foundation, were the Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page and Jeff Bezos, who was accompanied by his mother.
Then there was Mr. Epstein’s interest in eugenics. Once, at a dinner at Mr. Epstein’s mansion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, Mr. Lanier said he talked to a scientist who told him that Mr. Epstein’s goal was to have 20 women at a time impregnated at his 33,000-square-foot Zorro Ranch in a tiny town outside Santa Fe. Mr. Mr. Lanier, said he had the impression that Mr. Epstein was using the dinner parties to screen candidates to bear Mr. Epstein’s children. Mr. Epstein did not hide his interest in tinkering with genes — and in perpetuating his own DNA. Interviews with more than a dozen of his acquaintances, as well as public documents, show that he used the same tactics to insinuate himself into an elite scientific community, thus allowing him to pursue his interests in eugenics and other fringe fields like cryonics. One adherent of transhumanism said that he and Mr. Epstein discussed the financier’s interest in cryonics, an unproven science in which people’s bodies are frozen to be brought back to life in the future. Mr. Epstein told this person that he wanted his head and penis to be frozen.
More Epstein and Eugenics. Source Here Now call me crazy, but there's some strangeness happening. Cryonics, don't die, just Let It Go and get Frozen. First Peter Thiel, now Epstein. Let's hope the AI Singularity arrives in time, right? Now I wouldn't have even bothered with their shared interest of joining the Walt Disney Cryonics Club, if there wasn't more in play, and there's more in play.
August 9, 2019: TRT World • The billionaire shared the same personal network that included Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak, infamous Blackwater founder Erik Prince, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, UAE Crown Prince Mohamed bin Zayed, Donald Trump and Bill Clinton.
According to investigative journalist Vicky Ward, quoting a meeting with Trump’s transition team, Acosta told a White House official: “I was told Epstein ‘belonged to intelligence’ and to leave it alone.”
That's a bit of an exclusive club, kinda like being in the Mouseketeer CIA club. But, hey, nothing to see here, is there? But just in case, let's look into the company that Epstein worked with, Carbyne.
This single company, Carbyne, brought together a who’s who of power brokers and intelligence figures from multiple regions including Russia, China and the Trump administration itself, with Epstein at its heart. Officially, Carbyne provided high-tech solutions for emergency centres. In reality, it existed in a grey area giving it unprecedented access to private information, with significant potential for privacy abuse. Carbyne provides a service for police emergency centres, providing complete access to the caller’s camera and GPS, providing the dispatcher with a live video feed.
Ok. So Epstein and Thiel both are into AI, Surveillance, and Cryonics. President Trump was in Isreal and Saudi Arabia in May 2017. And who ended up in Isreal just afterwards? PayPal Founder in Israel: Too Much Copying and Not Enough Innovation in High-tech

Hey, one month after Trump visited the Middle East, Peter Thiel decides to take middle eastern vacation to give out business tips. SourceHere
Ok look. I get it. Rich people make investments, those investments are bound to end up in the same company. But these companies aren't exactly run of the mill home security systems, are they? Nope. This is the kind of surveillance systems that the KGB or the Stasi could only dream of. And when you wish upon a star dreams come true. And Peter Thiel must be wishing upon a star. Ok. Strap in, buckle up, and try to keep up, or you're gonna get left in the dust. Cause it's boom or bust from here on out, and we're gonna add it up like the count. So Elichai owns Carbyne. Peter Thiel invested in Carbyne. And Carbyne is in the USA linked to the 911 system, and it's being used to fight the pandemic.
Forbes (Link Above) • Its founder thinks Carbyne’s tech could make the lives of 911 dispatch and healthcare professionals much less chaotic in the Covid-19 crisis. Carbyne relies on callers submitting themselves to self-surveillance via their own mobile phone. Once a caller uses their Android or iPhone to call 911 (85% of emergency calls now come from mobile devices), they receive a text message that asks for permission to get their precise location and access video from their smartphone camera.
Step right up and give your permission to be saved. Big Brother is looking out for you. So Elichai used to work for the 8200. Cool name, right. I'm not sure about you, but that sounds pretty dystopian. And I've gotta say, that all of Technocrats that are promising us an AI utopia, sure seem to be getting ahead of the curve by building doomsday bunkers for a dystopia. And here we sit wasting our time Doomscrolling. So what else has sprung up from the 8200? Have you ever heard about the NSO Group?
November 1, 2019 - WhatsApp identified an Israeli company, NSO Group, as having developed the spyware called Pegasus, which it held responsible for the breach. This disclosure was part of a lawsuit WhatsApp has filed against the NSO Group in a US federal court, saying the company was actively involved in hacking users of the encrypted chat service. As per the WhatsApp complaint the “target users included attorneys, journalists, human rights activists, political dissidents, diplomats, and other senior foreign government officials.” NSO’s spyware Pegasus has been reportedly used to target journalists in Mexico investigating drug cartels, rights group Amnesty International, human rights activists in UAE, activists in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. According to Israeli news reports, Saudi Arabia paid $55 million for its use. The contract was later frozen over the scandal alleging NSO software's role in Saudi Arabia tracking slain journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the months before he was murdered in the Saudi Embassy in Turkey. In India, 17 people, who are known to be targeted include activists and human rights lawyers. Source Here
Whoops. Do you remember Jamal Khashoggi? He was trying to expose Human Rights abuses against Saudi Arabia. And then Suadi Arabia decided to murder him, and confirm that they were abusing human rights. Jamal paid the ultimate price to prove his point. But who is selling the hacking tools? At this point they all seem to be springing up from members of the 8200, and the companies they started.
TRT - Link Previously Provided • DarkMatter, a UAE surveillance and intelligence group employing former NSA operatives was built on the back of a larger initiative to modernise Emirati intelligence and military operations. The group took part in at the Arab Future Cities Conference in November 2015, where it presented a vision of smarter, tech-driven cities, which caught the eye of Chinese officials. Smarter cities meant Big Brother-esque widespread surveillance installed throughout the UAE. Only two years later in April 25 2017, DarkMatter signed a Global Strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Huawei, a leading Chinese company, for the same ‘Big Data’ systems and ‘Smart City’ solutions. The middle man? None other than Erik Prince, who had gone from working for the Emiratis, to working for a Chinese billionaire. In suspect timing, the Memorandum of Understanding also took place right before China scaled up its total surveillance and crackdown on Uighurs in Xinjiang, China.
February 2, 2019: Reuters • Xinjiang is a major part of China's Belt and Road infrastructure network but the region has faced attacks blamed on members of the Muslim ethnic Uighur minority. Beijing has responded with a security clampdown condemned by rights groups and Western governments. Frontier Services Group (FSG), a Hong Kong-listed company founded by Prince, said in a Chinese-language statement posted on its website on Jan. 22 that it had signed a deal to build a training centre in southern Xinjiang. Prince is deputy chairman, a minority shareholder and a board member of FSG, a security, logistics and insurance provider. Source Here

Chinese authorities are using a 911 mobile app to carry out illegal mass surveillance and arbitrary detention of Muslims in China’s western Xinjiang region. Source Here Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Aren't we condemning China for the camps, and yet the West is helping to build those camps? Must be a big mistake. We didn’t know what was happening. And Erik Prince swears he didn't know. Honestly. He's not lying. Cross my heart and hope to die. Pinky swear.
8200 leads to NSO and Carbyne. DarkMatter is in the UAE with NSA employees. The NSO hack was used to capture Khashoggi. Peter Thiel invested in Facebook, Facebook owns WhatsApp. Peter Thiel invested in Carbyne. Eric Prince works for and founded FSG, which built the Muslim reduction school. China is using similar tech to target Muslims and send them back to school. Carbyne 911 surveillance tech accesses your phone camera after you click on the link to give permission. So. Peter Thiel funds Carbyne. Eric Prince is working for the UAE developing security and the UAE ends up with Dark Matter, and then his company (FSG) is sold to China, and they build re-education centers, which uses technology like Carbyne, and that technology is being used in the USA. Got it? Good. Because I'm seriously having a hard time keeping up with the behind the scene footage of this LARP.

October 18, 2019: fortune.com - How a WhatsApp Tax Launched Massive Anti-Government Protests in Lebanon.
What a crazy New Normal World Order we live in. What are the odds that we have a WhatsApp hack tax protest and we also have a WhatsApp hack that uses your phone camera, while also using similar tech in the USA and China. That's inconceivable! That's incredible! Someone call the press and let them know about this! Uhm. Wait. Better not. You might get Khashoggid. So Eric Prince is involved. Peter Thiel is involved. WhatsApp is owned by Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg owns Facebook, and Peter Thiel helped Facebook grow. And then there was this.

At this point, I think I'm going to need to buy a whole lot of tacks and string and make pciture maps on my walls. If we're all living in a Truman Surveillance Show, might as well play the part of the New Normal crazy conspiracy theorist, right?
January 17, 2017: The Intercept According to New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, in December Prince attended the annual “Villains and Heroes” costume ball hosted by Mercer. Dowd wrote that Palantir founder Peter Thiel showed her “a picture on his phone of him posing with Erik Prince, who founded the private military company Blackwater, and Mr. Trump — who had no costume — but joke[d] that it was ‘N.S.F.I.’ (Not Safe for the Internet).”
No. Sanity. Fracking. Involved. Is more like it. This insanity can't pass for sanity, can it? And yet they label us crazy when we start to find the big picture, even if we aren't entirely sure what the big picture means.
The Intercpt Continued: In July, Prince told Trump’s senior adviser and white supremacist Steve Bannon, at the time head of Breitbart News, that the Trump administration should recreate a version of the Phoenix Program, the CIA assassination ring that operated during the Vietnam War, to fight ISIS. Such a program, Prince said, could kill or capture “the funders of Islamic terror and that would even be the wealthy radical Islamist billionaires funding it from the Middle East, and any of the other illicit activities they’re in.” Prince also said that Trump would be the best force to confront “Islamic fascism.” “As for the world looking to the United States for leadership, unfortunately, I think they’re going to have to wait till January and hope Mr. Trump is elected because, clearly, our generals don’t have a stomach for a fight,” Prince said. “Our president doesn’t have a stomach for a fight and the terrorists, the fascists, are winning.” Source Here
Sounds good, right? Kill people who kill people and maybe someday we won't have people getting killed. Killer idea! HEWDSHAWT! Grab your BFG and let's go BGH. It's a date! But then why are these cell phone surveillance hacks companies being constantly linked with their names, and those hacks are being used to target journalists and human rights activists? It's a small New Normal World Order after all. And it's getting smaller everyday. No worries though, Keep Calm and Carry On, We're All In This Together, and You're Either With Us Or Against Us. It's all good. That kind of thing could never happen here.

2020.08.19 15:22 X-W-BJust read through the details of Rafale deal 'controversy'
Hello /IndiaSpeaks, Just wanted to make a post here and share my experience on finally getting to the bottom of the whole Rafale deal 'controversy' that I kept overhearing from 2016 through the 2019 election. Also, if the timing of this reddit post looks weird, that's because it is. Personal and professional life circumstances didn't leave me with a lot of space to do deep readings of political topics in the country, so I could never really get to the bottom of this particular issue. But finally this past week, after reading over dozens of articles and the summary of the events from the dedicated Wikipedia page, I realized that... this isn't even a fucking controversy. The core of the allegations by the brain-dead then Congress Party chief RaGa stems from these two aspects of the deal:
Inflated per-unit cost of the Rafale fighter aircraft under the Inter-Govermental Agreement (IGA) signed in 2016 by the Modi-led NDA government as compared to the cost from the original MRCA deal winner announcement during the UPA regime in 2012.
The auxiliary 'offset-contract' that was part of the terms negotiated between India and France in defence deals. This contract in particular involved setting up of a defense/aviation manufacturing facility under a Dassault-Reliance JV in Nagpur. This aspect of 'controversy' involves, well, controversy around the awarding of the contract to Anil Ambani's Reliance Defence ahead of the public sector HAL. The facility in Nagpur currently produces nosecones for Dassault's Falcon jets, and would later be fully capable of producing the Dassault Falcon 2000 business jets, as well as spare parts for India's Rafale and Mirage 2000 fleets.
The first point was fully shot down by both the former defense ministers -- Manohar Parrikar and Nirmala Sitharaman citing Congress's lack of awareness about the inflation rate (fixed at 3.5%). That made perfect sense to me as why the fuck would the cost of the aircraft between when the competition winner was first announced in 2012 and when the old terms were scrapped for a brand new deal in the form of the IGA in 2016? As for the second point, the French airplane maker had a freehand in choosing their India partner, and their rationale according to them was because of their preexisting relationship with Reliance defence, back when it was owned by Anil's brother Mukesh, and also because of easy access to an airport runway near a Reliance defence owned facility for easy test flights and logistics. In fact, RaGa further embaressed himself by cooking up a story about the meeting between him and the French President Macron, forcing the French foreign ministry to issue a statement. I'll just quote these statements from the top officers of the Indian Air Force that completely demolished the claims of Congress (oh and later they did go on the say that the officers were 'pressured' by the government): "Vice Chief of the Air Staff Shirish Baban Deo said that the controversy was a result of ignorance about offset and defence procurement policy. Air Marshal Raghunath Nambiar also spoke in support of the deal, saying that the people alleging price escalation were not aware of the details that officers of Indian Air Force had access to, as a result of their involvement in price negotiations. He said that the price in the IGA was lower than what was offered in 2008 and there was no favouritism in the distribution of offset contracts." More quotes from defence minister that further exposes the bs behind Congress's claim: "Nirmala Sitharaman said that the older deal broke down as the cost for aircraft produced locally would have increased significantly, far more than the cost of aircraft produced in France. She added that Dassault refused to warranty the jets and HAL couldn't take over the warranty. She said that the figure of ₹526 crore quoted by Congress represented the cost of basic aircraft and did not include the cost of associated items required to make it operational." Glad I was able to reach the bottom of this 'controversy,' and get the full picture. Any more content/articles for further reading would be greatly appreciated.

This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 60%. (I'm a bot)
By Debby Wu. A key supplier to Apple Inc. and a dozen other tech giants plans to split its supply chain between the Chinese market and the U.S., declaring that China's time as factory to the world is finished because of the trade war. Intensifying trade tensions between Washington and Beijing have pushed device manufacturers to diversify their production bases away from China, and Liu last year said that Apple's most prized product, the iPhone, can be made outside China if needed. The pandemic likely boosted iPad and Mac sales, even as Apple store closures weighed on iPhone sales, Apple CEO Tim Cook said on July 31 after reporting quarterly revenue that crushed estimates. Hon Hai is among Apple assembly partners that plan to expand operations in India, potentially helping the iPhone maker grow its presence in the country of 1.3 billion and shift some of the U.S. company's supply chain outside of China as ties between Washington and Beijing fray. Local electronics titan Luxshare Precision Industry Co. is poised to become the first Chinese homegrown iPhone assembler after sealing a deal in July to buy an Apple handset production plant from Wistron Corp. While Hon Hai will keep assembly orders for premium iPhones, Luxshare will eat into the business for mid-to-entry-level Apple handsets, Fubon Securities analyst Arthur Liao wrote in a July 23 note. Annual iPhone shipments could plunge 25%-30% if Apple is forced to remove the app from its app stores worldwide, TF International Securities analyst Kuo Ming-chi warned in an August 9 note.

2020.08.09 05:25 Shefali_LambaThoughts on the current state of Hindu-Sikh "unity" and bitter realities Hindus should know
After receiving several messages saying I am a Pakistani agent by one very old user who seems to be a Hindu, I thought I would make a post bringing to light some realities about Hindu-Sikh relations. I harbor no hatred toward the Sikh community nor do I believe they are all traitors. However, the Khalistan movement and Sikh nationalism is more deeply entrenched than some people here would like to believe. I don't believe the guy who sent me those "Paki" messages has bad intentions. I just think he's fallen into the delusion of an imagined "dharmic unity" against the "peacefuls," which to be frank, sounds like a modified form of the same pseudo-secularism, just with a different minority. Many of these are Hindus who have not lived in/around Punjab. Sikhs should have ideally have become a kind of warrior Panth within the Hindu fold. We have a shared history of a united struggle against Islamic invaders. Sikh Gurus and later the kukas fought for protection of the cow and Kashmiri Pandits lived peacefully under the rule of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Many Sikhs went to temples, Hindus to gurudwaras, there was intermarriage - in essence, a syncretic Hindu-Sikh culture prevailed in Punjab, and it does to a large extent even today. However, there was also a group of Sikhs who considered themselves separate from Hindus and had a more Abrahamic interpretation of their texts. During British rule, especially in the late 1800s, missionary activity was strong. To counter it, sects like Arya Samaj (Hindus), Singh Sabha (Sikhs) and Aligarh movement (Muslims) rose as a counter. Arya Samaj, though monotheistic in practice, found many followers in Punjab. Bhagat Singh's family for example was of Arya Samaji/Sikh background. However, this caused issues with Sikhs whose Gurus Dayanand Saraswati considered foolish and hypocritical. Many Sikhs became Hindus this way, cutting off their kesh. The British took advantage of this and propped up the Abrahamicised sect Tat Khalsa (based in Lahore) to take control of the Akal Takht in Amritsar. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tat_Khalsa These are the people who say they are not Hindus and would later agitate for Khalistan. They control the Gurudwaras. Earlier, the Akal Takht used to have murtis of Hindu Gods, which would be removed roughly a decade after Tat Khalsa Singh Sabha usurped it. Earlier, Akal Takht was controlled by the Sanatan Singh Sabha, which, true to its name, considered itself one with Hindus: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanatan_Singh_Sabha https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanatan_Sikh Sanatan Sikhs, unlike Tat Khalsa Sikhs (who are the majority), descended directly from the Gurus. Either way, they are a small minority now and during the Khalistan movement, Bhindranwale hunted them down with more barbarity than he did Hindus. Among the groups persecuted by the Tat Khalsa, were Namdhari Sikhs, who to this day, consider themselves Hindu as well as Sikh. The Sikhs depicted in this post are Namdharis and can be recognised by the white turban. Namdharis, Nirankari Sikhs and Udasis are today not recognised as true Sikhs by the SPGC (the governing body of Sikhs in India). The SPGC is ruled by Akali Dal (which is an alliance partner of the BJP). They are nothing but a crypto-Khalistani party who worship Bhindranwale and whitewash his crimes. I have written in detail about Bhindranwale. Many Sikhs who you would think are nationalists support Bhindranwale. These are your average army personnel, policemen, bureaucrats. Doesn't mean you should hate them, but know this. Akal Takht supporting Muslims in their opposition to CAA/NRC (Indian Sikhs btw) Khalsa Aid under investigation by NIA BJP-Akali Dal issues over Bhindranwale memorial Akal Takht wants to ban RSS RSS reconverting Christians to Sikhism is not accepted by Akal Takht Bihari students fight with Sikhs over Bhindranwale poster blackening Akal Takht rejecting invitation to Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan Majinder Sirsa defending Bhindranwale "All Sikhs want Khalistan" -- Akal Takht head Akal Takht/Akali Dal/Tat Khalsa don’t want Hindu-Sikh unity. They wanted complete control of Punjab and domination. They would have turned Punjab into another Kashmir. No amount of “Paki Paki” insults will change this fact.
2020.08.06 07:37 u87hiAccording to anonymized billing data sourced from Superfly Insights: Uber’s ride-hailing business is seeing very slow recovery among all major cities: 10% recovery in India, 39% in Brazil, 23% in US and 29% worldwide (excluding India).

Uber’s India ride-hailing volumes have recovered by around 10% while it is at 39% in Brazil, 23% in the US and about 29% worldwide (excluding India), according to anonymised billing data sourced from Israel’s Superfly Insights. This data, which covers a part of Uber’s total rides starting from mid-March to the week ended July 26, shows the recovery for ride-hailing would be gradual and slow in India as more lockdown restrictions get lifted in the coming months. In India, segments like digital payments, e-commerce, online grocery have shown much sharper recovery. The data showed Uber India operations were virtually shut till about the middle of May and started signs of mild recovery only towards the end of May and in early June. By the second half of June, Uber staged an 8% recovery on a weekly basis here with the highest jump in rides during the first week of July at around 13%. In the same week, Brazil and the US saw demand jumping back to 28% and 20% respectively. A similar growth trajectory has been seen for the rest of July but India demand stabilised at around 10% of pre-Covid-19 demand, as most companies including large sectors like IT/ITeS are in work-from-home mode. Experts said, India’s slower recovery is linked to lockdown restrictions which are slowly opening up in large cities in a staggered manner compared to higher activity in countries like the US and Brazil, both of which are also battling the virus outbreak. In June, Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, during a conference with analysts, had said ride requests were down by 70%. The company will report its second-quarter earnings on August 6, where it might share further updates on the overall recovery. A spokesperson for Uber India declined to comment on the matter. “The policies there (global markets) are much clearer than here, in terms of where people can ply. Then, in general, the level of fear in India is significantly higher and the level of economic activity the US and Brazil are seeing is more than India. So, pretty much it’s linked to overall economic activity (for ride demand),” said Ankur Pahwa, partner and national leader — e-commerce and consumer internet, EY India. According to Pahwa, recovery of over 50% might happen in next calendar year only as more organisations are allowing extended periods of work-from-home for the rest of the year. Uber, which sold its India food delivery business to Zomato in January, has had to fire 6,700 people globally, including around 600 in India in May due to the pandemic’s impact on its operations. Its local rival Ola had laid off 1,400 in May as revenue fell by 95%.
December 2023 With Saudi Arabia in flames, the world's largest oil exporter is out of the picture, for better or for worse. As oil prices skyrocket to meet the demand, Saudi Arabian importers will be frantically searching for new options. While Pakistan is an importer of crude petroleum, it does not make up a sizable amount of Pakistan's imports. Nonetheless, Pakistan must prepare to compensate for all of Pakistan's trade with Saudi Arabia through substitution with its strategic partners.
Immediate Need: $2.337 Bn of Oil Pakistan has contacted the governments of Iran, Qatar, Kazakhstan to secure a contract for increased petroleum imports for the next three years. Pakistan's population would be very upset if it did not take actions to keep down prices of fuel, and the military heavily relies on oil for transportation. With PM Zardari in power, he is being tested with his first crisis- and he must keep the fuel prices stable in Pakistan to save Pakistan's economy while the world will burn outside of the country. PM Zardari has asked his Minister of Energy to calculate the need of oil to keep Pakistan's economy stable so that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs can begin signing deals with regional allies. Iran: $1.5 Bn of Oil until 2026 The Minister of Energy believes that Iran, sharing a land border with Pakistan will be able to provide the cheapest options given our relationship and geographical advantages. However, without an oil pipeline between Iran and Pakistan, there are significant time limitations that must be met through barges and ground transport via train and trucks. PM Zardari has reached out to President Hassan Rouhani of Iran and informed him that Pakistan would like to sign a deal to acquire $1.5 Bn of oil imports annually for the next three years. Iran exports approximately 785,000 bbl/day, making Iran the 18th largest oil exporting country. However due to relation issues with the west and other countries, Pakistan expects Iranian demand will not rise much among major consumers, and Pakistan would like to seize this opportunity to do business with Iran. Qatar: $1 Bn of Oil until 2026 Pakistan has also reached out to Qatar, one of our most faithful business partners and security allies. Shortly after an attack on their country, Qatar is likely seeking opportunities to instill confidence and growth among their population, especially with unrest growing in Saudi Arabia. Pakistan has proposed a deal to Qatar where Pakistan will order $1 Bn of oil annually until 2026 to eliminate dependency on Saudi Arabia and keep prices stable. With Pakistan's new defense commitments to Qatar, Pakistan is confident that these deals will be secure from intervention from Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will take extensive efforts to protect this deal with Qatar. The issue is that all of the oil will have to be transported to Gwadar or Karachi by barge, and that is a time consuming endeavor. There is really no way around this, so diversifying with other nations was our best option. The surplus ordered should cover delays. Kazakhstan: $1 Bn of Oil until 2026 Kazakhstan is also one of the largest oil exporting nations and have been gifted with vast reserves. Although they are not directly our northern neighbor, they are still quite close and manage a pipeline from Skymkent that ends at Gwadar. Typically this line is used for Kazakhstan to sell their oil to nations abroad, however this time, Pakistan would like to purchase some of the oil for itself, rather than using it as a point of transit. Pakistan would like $1 Bn worth of oil every year until 2026. These deals will net Pakistan a surplus of $1.163 Bn in Oil imports that will be stored to be gradually released to the market to keep prices stable
Kerman-Gwadar Oil Pipeline Pakistan's Ministry of Energy is proposing a pipeline to pass from Kerman, Iran to Gwadar, Pakistan to give Pakistan a direct channel to import Iranian oil from. Pakistan is unsure how long the issues in Saudi Arabia will last and what sort of government would rise in its place, so is looking for ways to prepare itself for a worst case scenario. Pakistan will begin the construction of its own side, if Iran agrees, and asks that Iran begin construction of their side. This project will cost $500 Mn and will be completed in two years.
Recently, the US EIA has discovered that Pakistan is sitting on a reserve of 9 billion barrels of petroleum oil and 105 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. This is a game changer for Pakistan, which was originally believed to only have limited reserves. In 2009, Pakistan thought it would run out of natural gas by 2029, but with the recent information, that is not only untrue, but provides overwhelming evidence to support wide-spread expansion of oil and natural gas extraction in the country. It is clear that in the long-term Saudi Arabia may no longer be a viable option for oil importing, so turning to Pakistan's own reserves will not only be beneficial for Paksitan's use, but position Pakistan as a long-term key exporter of petroleum and natural gas. The Ministry of Energy has begun approving permits for public-sector petroleum and gas enterprises in Pakistan to begin setting up operations to begin extracting petroleum and natural gas. Once the public-sector businesses have priority, then Pakistan-domestic private businesses will be allowed access and so on.
Banks are indispensable. However much you hate your bank, you still don't think of it as a commodity. But that’s about to change. Banks recognise that they need to get up with all the tech. That explains the mushrooming of neobanks—a fintech term for startups that want to improve the banking experience by partnering with banks. I was speaking to someone who is setting up one of these neobanks, and found his tone rather surprising. Startups usually don't miss an opportunity to talk about how their company is the silver bullet, but his tone was very sobering. It bothered him that there were too many neobanks springing up. "This will get the attention of the regulator. All it takes is one company to screw it up, and all of us will be in the dock," he rued. Enter WhatsApp. The company that different regulators in India watch like a hawk. The messaging app on Wednesday said it is looking to offer credit, insurance, and pension products to lower-income individuals. With that, the banking stack creep has officially begun. https://imgur.com/IrrYZbB About five years ago, fintech sought to solve one slice of banking and hoped to create value there. That's how you saw payments companies mushrooming. Though the scale is large, it just is not enough value creation, as there is no money in just payments. So the next choice is to creep up the bank stack. What makes this easy is the partnership route that companies like Facebook and WhatsApp are relying on. Without taking a licence from the insurance or banking or stock-market regulator, they can deal with distributing banking products, insurance products, and investment products all the same, by riding on the licence of their institutional partner. This way, they could neatly pocket the commission of an agent and become a valuable partner for the banks. Amazon is the other tech behemoth that is already well on its way to crawling up the banking stack. https://imgur.com/1WadCCZ
In 2018, Amazon Lending partnered with Bank of America Merrill Lynch to issue loans on an invitation-only basis that could range between $1,000 to $750,000. In 2020, Amazon inked similar partnerships with Goldman Sachs in the US and ING in Germany. As part of its deal with Goldman Sachs’ Marcus brand, the bank will invite selected merchants to apply for a credit line of up to $1M.
Everything You Need To Know About What Amazon Is Doing In Financial Services,CB Insights In India, too, Amazon has invested in lenders like Capital Float and insurers like Acko. Now, Amazon has its own ecosystem of sellers and buyers to distribute these financial products. So it has a purpose to enable loans to its network of sellers and customers.
“Amazon is building financial services products to increase participation in the Amazon ecosystem. Amazon is building a bank for Amazon, and that maybe even more compelling than launching a traditional deposit-holding bank.”
Lindsay Davis, a tech industry analyst at CB Insights However, WhatsApp does not directly sell anything. This is where Facebook's $5.7 billion stakes in Reliance Industries can come in handy. Lend to Reliance merchants, via WhatsApp, using banks' capital. In this construct, what do you think is replaceable and is a commodity? Now, with Amazon, too, in talks with Reliance Industries for a stake in Reliance Retail, its effect on distributing banking products could look something like this. 2020.07.15 17:23 HanuwomanRape reports for June 2020
Below is a table listing the reports submitted to rapetracker between May 31 and June 30. Since I had laptop issues in the first half of June, most of the news reports for that period were only submitted between June 16 and 21. It's likely that I've missed a number of reported incidents :(
This list is certainly not exhaustive as a lot of reports in vernacular media never make it to the English media. I do know that I also miss reports in a few papers as well.
As always, remember that this is a very tiny percentage of the reports that make it to the media from the police. The reports in the police are a minuscule percentage of the assaults that occur in India as most are never reported. If you go by the NCRB statistic from 2018, a rape is reported every 15 minutes in India. So a timeframe of 30 days would normally see 2880 reports made to the police. This list has only 166.
